    It's about to start on ESPN. Once again, Takeru Kobayashi is the favorite, but Joey "Jaws" Chestnut could take him down. Jaws ate 50 hot dogs in 12 minutes in a May qualifiying event.

    This is just about the worst programming I've ever seen on TV.

    The announcer is ridiculous. LET'S HEAR YOU, CROWD, FOR JOEY CHESNUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!!!

    lol what are you talking about THIS STUFFS GREAT!

    kobayashi takes the victory with 54 hotdogs, beating the world record of 53.5 in 10 minutes.

    chestnut was very close with 52.

    That was awesome...Chestnut looked like he had Parkinson's Disease around the eight or nine minute mark. I thought he was going to yak and DQ himself.

    This is the first time Kobayashi has really been tested, and he came through in the clutch. It's official, Kobayashi isn't the Michael Jordan of competitive eating, Michael Jordan is the Kobayashi of basketball...

    That was the first time I've ever watched the whole competition, good stuff. I can't wait to eat some dogs now.

    chick fil a has the best breakfast burrito's, IMO.

    Pappa's bbq though i haven't had chick-fil-a's yet. I like the skillet potatoes pappa's uses. :)

    I make my own.

    Scrambled eggs + diced tomatoes/onions/bellpeppers + 3 cheese blend + 2 pieces of bacon.. then grill the tortillas.. dip in some salsa..

    how does kobayashi stay in such amazing shape? the dude is ripped....i wonder if they test for performance enhancing drugs in the world of competitive eating.... :D

    he probably takes some special pill before the competition that makes him completely void his bowels and it also completely stops production of his stomach acid for a little while to maximize his stomach volume or something

    It was ridiculously hot.....and crowded as hell.
