This question is killing me, I was going to jump through my tv and choke Rudy. Why the Phack was Walt covering Shareef-Abdur-Rahim?!?!?!?!?! Its crunch time and arguably one of the worst defenders in the history of the game is guarding probably one of the top 5 players in the nba right now, If you haven't watched Rahim that much let me just tell you this, he is a dominating player much like KG on the offensive end actualy he is KG on the offensive end except he has the ability to pass it out and find the open shooter. I was so pissed when Walt came in and began covering Rahim.

Ps. I must give props to the Fans in the Arena formerly known as the Summit they were ROCKING from 1:21 secs remaining and on. Congrats.

That's the same damn thing me, my dad, and P were asking. Isn't Anderson a better defender? Hasn't Anderson played well enough lately to command the playing time? Isn't Abdur-Rahim the only threat Vancouver has? That about sums up how confused I was in the last few minutes of the game. As long as we win though, its all good.

Other than putting WWW on Abdur-Rahim, I have actually been sort of pleased with waht Rudy has done. More people are getting legit PT and making the best of it. It just sucks that it takesa couple of injuries for Rudy to wise up and make some changes.

    This surprised me too.

My only guess was that Rudy wanted to reward Walt with more PT since he hit a key three and was generally having a nice offensive game. Walt did get 2 blocks in the game, most likely against Shareef.

Rudy did put Anderson in for the last Grizzly possesion.

My friend and I were at the game and noticed that every time a whistle blows on a Rockets defensive foul Walt's hand goes up, no matter how unlikely the foul was on him. We started to joke at the end of the game, when Barkley fouled Bibby, Walt's hand went up on the bench [IMG]
