Fisher to me was a glorified, overrated role player. And he got paid for it too.
There are similiarities between him and Mike, but I really believe James has taken that next step...through hard work.

Wow... that deal is uglier than whoopi goldberg @ high noon! If a trade like this ever happens i would become a Raptors fan as i went to the same elementary school and TJ Ford.

Why are you even bringing in Juwan? It's not like you even suggested trading Juwan for Fish.

Is it because you want two aging, overpaid, slow veterans on the roster?

You've got to be crazy to want to trade Rafer for D Fisher. Youre getting older and slower. Sounds terrific for JVG but I wouldnt do it.

Fisher? Not unless Troy Murphy or JRich is somehow included. Otherwise, Alston will make a great, inexpensive backup for Mike James. :D

nay, no, nunca. Fish sucks plain and simple. Rafer may be mediocre for a starting PG, but he's still superior, younger and cheaper than the flopping fish.

NAY! Not even close and I'm not a Rafer fan. Why would we want an overpaid below average pg with a long contract?

I would trade trade Rafer for a pack of noodles and moochie-norris's barber but derek fisher is to old with a horiible contract.

He did make my team though

    All-time NBA floppers:

    Coach: Jerry Sloan

    .PG: Derek Fisher
    SG: Manu Ginobli
    SF: Reggie Evans
    PF: Karl Malone
    C: Valad Divac.

    6thman: Jeff hornecek

    no.

however, no one can convince me that a Alston trade isn't in the offing.

i dont think JVG is all that pleased to have him as the starting PG come the start of the season.

I personally will be very surprised if we see him wearing a Rocks jersey come November.

Absolutely not, keep Rafer. Derek Fisher's are easier to find, but a true point guard with a low turnover to assist ratio don't come along every day.

I'd do it if we only needed him to play .4 seconds out of every game.
