yea, i feel the same. Im glad that they didn't put some of the jokes i loved in the trailer (the dog and the stuff animal (duck?) was awesome ) I was pretty pissed that they breezed through the slow motion female jogger
I thought the 'Arab prince' and his clique were hilarious, I was LOL at that one I thought it was a good movie as well, some comedy and some serious, touching moments towards the end of the movie. Oh yeah, and Kate Beckinsale is some serious eye candy...
Saw it on Saturday and thought it was really good especially since I did not expect it to turn the way it did. Very funny and had a great message. Sandler's da man.
Hilarious? Entertaining? Did we see the same movie? You kids today... I think maybe because I'm one of the older farts around here that maybe I've seen it all and it takes more to get me to laugh, but the LOL moments were minimal. SPOILERS The dog humping the stuffed duck? You guys think that's funny? And how many times did they run that joke into the ground. Once he got on the bed at the store I knew it was all a dream and that pretty much ruined it for me. Sandler is one of these guys who knows how to make a movie that the masses will go see opening weekend and I give him credit for that. I will say this: the message of the movie is great. It really does make you think about life a little. Some of that hit close to home and I could relate to it. But as a comedy this movie was WEAK!!
Interesting note from you Simpsons buffs, the actress that played Adam Sandler's mom, is none other than the voice of Marge Simpson, Julie Kavner. and yes, whoever thought "Odouls RULE!" was funny, your OK in my book
I loved this movie, and I'm not a big Sandler fan at all. The message alone should make people watch this flick.
Funny movie, with a very moving message. I actually cried near the end, this movie hit home for me. I recommend it. One of the best movies i've seen in awhile.
hahah i saw click a week ago, it was FREAKIN HILARIOUS, very very good movie. Kate Beckinsale and Katie Cassidy are freakin hot too.. loved the movie.
good movie. I thought it was going to suck big time, but, it surprised me and was consistantly good throughout.
SPOILERS!!! Man, maybe I'm in the minority, but I agree completely with Faos. It was ok, but nothing to LOL about. Hasselhoff was pretty good, and Christopher Walken was...entertaining. But as soon as Adam Sandler got his ass into bed at the Bed, Bath, Beyond, I knew the whole thing was going to be a copout (dream sequence or whatever). The message was a good one, but near the end, when he's chasing after Ben and he steps outside and it's raining and all of a sudden the dramatic music swells...come on, man, it's just using a bunch of cheap tricks to jerk those tears out of you. I personally think they should have used that little Asian kid more, the one who's crying because he "hates that man!" And does Adam Sandler belittle his penis size in every movie?
Wow, you figured out that there was going to be a "happy" ending somehow, someway. brilliant. and if you and Faos would have been paying attention, it wasn't just a dream sequence, more towards whatever.
SPOILERS It would have been SOOOOO much better if the movie ended with the scene where he is in the parking lot in the rain. Instead they invalidate the whole movie by making it a dream. Did they get a middle school kid to help work on the script?
