Stro "betrayed" the Rockets by being a sorry excuse for an NBA player. If Stro had half a heart he would have been our starter at PF after 10 games. All he had to do was beat out JUWAN HOWARD!!! and he couldn't do it.

The problem was he couldn't play defense, was a foul machine, doesn't have ANY rebounding instincts, has bad hands and has close to zero offensive skills besides throwing down dunks.

But according to some, if he's put into the perfect situation on some other team he will turn into a "beast", which is something he's never been in 6 full NBA seasons. He just needs a perfect PG who will give him the ball (even though he can't catch). He needs a running team to get him out into transition (even though he doesn't hustle). All he needs is a coach who will give him more "encouragement" because (I guess) he's a mental midget who cannot stand the rigors of coaches who demand he focus and try his best during practice and during games. If Stro ever finds this perfect situation, it will become imperfect the day he arrives. Conclusion: Stro will always be Stro. Good riddance and don't let the door hit you!

The real problem was the trade specifics themselves. We could have sent our two TE's for Battier. Then our #8 for Dontay Jones or Warrick or whatever and it would have been cool. Swift could have been dealt for JR Smith or Marquis Daniels or something. He still has trade value and a very fair contract.

West will trade Swift before the deadline for picks and/or players and pour salt all over this trade again. Mark my words. And Van Gundy will pout his smug lilly white face again.

Yeah beating out Juwan is so easy in JVGs system isnt it. This is the same guy who gave more time to Ryan Bowen some nights. Please, When Stro had some good PT, he did well. I b****ed about it then Ill b**** again and again. Stro gave us something like 13 and 9 for a two week stretch, then got 8 and 0 mins the next two nights. He didnt get a chance to do anything. JVG is fooked in the head.

What and Juwans 5 blocks were a testimony to his D? Or his massive amount of steals, or was it his 6 boards in 30 mins a night? Was it his outstanding shooting percentage? Or the fact that J HO was about the worst statical player out there everynight according to 82games.com.

Your delusional if youd take Juwan and his declining output at his contract then giving Swift a chance at starting with his MLE contract. I guarantee if JVDummy gave Swift just some consistant minutes, he'd of easily outperformed JHO, especially dollar for dollar. Whats JHo's perfect situation? Three starters must go down he has to be the only option and then he can do something? Yao has stated that Swift practiced hard, so you know otherwise? Id take Stro's two lates, and trade you a suglasses theif, making gobs of money for his measly 5 blocks a year.

You guys that defend Stro are completely hopeless and numb to reason. His entire 6 year career has been a bust. He is simply not a starting caliber player. At best, he's a 20-25 min/game backup PF/C. At worst, well, just take a look at his entire career with several different coaches.

Like I said another time, the Stro-love phenomenon was something to behold. Reasonable people without any bias need not apply. And I'm not "taking" JH over Stro or anything like that. They are both worthless but no team will take JH with his contract. Why is that so hard for people to understand? If one guy is stuck here, at least get rid of the other. Is this rocket science? Must be.

The day Stro becomes a "beast" will be the day we discover the moon is made of cheese.

That hoopsworld article is bogus. We can't send out Stro and Gay and get Battier and James. The salaries don't come close to matching up.

And if Stro doesn't report, the new CBA gives the league the power to fine and suspend a player without pay, so Stro really has no leverage in this deal. He'll have to report and grumble behind the scenes for a trade, but he really has no ability to torpedo this deal (as much as I hate to admit it).

You forgot to mention that we're also including our MLE signing from this year, Mike James.
