Wasn't there a story a couple of weeks ago about how we had signed Beilein (SP?)'s son to a summer league contract? Come on Gansey. That little bit of chemistry can make you shine even brighter.

Ahhhh, so there is more to the Battier trade. We get Darius W. from Memphis to go along with Battier. Cool.

If the Rockets wanted a backup point guard why they did not draft Dee Brown with the 44th pick.

I just hope we don't have to hear about how this guy will be the savior. JL#, DWash...I'd love for one of these undrafted kids to be a diamond in the rough, but not likely.

Is James Thomas on contract with another team already? If not, maybe we can pick him up.

    And Darius Washington is ?

Dee Brown shot the ball real well in his soph. yr. FG 50% and 3ptr 43%. He had a pathic shooting in his senior yr though possibly because he had to take the majority of the load.

I still think he is a better prospect than Washington.

Yeah I like Darius Washinghton on the summer league team but i would also like to see Rashad Anderson, he's 6"5 and can really stroke it plus the fact he is crazy clutch.

nah this guys a loser. I've seen this kid since HS and it's all about him and his daddy. HE was on national tv playing against a then HS senior as well in Sebastian Telfair and i'll tell you, he was all about him on the court. They had a lead, Telfair got his ankle twisted but came back. Telfair not only showed he was better than washington one-on-one, he then proceeded to get his teammates involved to finish washington's team off. And all Darius could do was hog the ball and scream at the refs.

HIs dad then came out saying garbage like ohh he's better than sebastian, just doesnt get the pub etce tc. Then the dude choke's at the line, where he just had to hit at least 1. Then his dad gets into his head again and he stupidly enters the draft. I cant stand the guy, he's totally not a JVG type player, and he'll be in the NBDL for sure for a long time till he and his dad humbles themselves.

Darius has been working out in Houston the past couple of weeks in Houston with John Lucas against the likes of Steve Francis, Mike James, Daniel Gibson, Cuttino Mobley, Big Baby Davis, Daniel Gibson, and many more college and NBA players.

Zero significance??? Matt Maloney was not at all in the Rockets' plans until he played well in the summer league. Chuck Hayes was an afterthought when he was added to the summer league roster. Look how that turned out.

If Darius Washington plays well in the summer league, he could get an invite to Rockets training camp. Don't rule out someone from the summer league team (other than Novak) being on the Rockets' roster next season.

Diaz is a SG in a PG body, his ball distribution skills are average at best-- but he is an athlete.

Darius Washington and Mike Gansey are the 2 players Im looking at.

Pittsnoggle, once we took Novak, became a moot point to me.
