CD and Les, I know you regreted, calm down. It's not too late. Here is a simple solution: Rescind the deal. Just say we have concerns about Shane's physical condition and rescind the deal. CD, you are leaving Rockets. Why do you care what West would say about you. Do something good for the Rockets. The fans will remember you do good things for the organization. Everyone makes dumb decisions. But not everyone has the courage to admit it.

CD and Les, would you rather lose a little of face now than risk people laughing at you when Gay turns out to be a superstar (ala T-Mac) and abuse rockets year after year?

If I were you, I would just rescind the deal and won't allow the deceitful Logo laughing at this dumb deal from behind.

    Rescind the deal!

I agree. Hell just say it's no longer in the best ineterest of the team to trade Gay for Battier.

Rescind the deal before it's too late.

If we did rescind the deal, it has more of an impact (positive or negative) on us than them.

    1. Gay is not the guy we would have taken. Apparently they would have.

    2. Their selection of Kyle Lowry at 24 was not a result of their "getting" Gay at #8. There is no argument to make there except to say that they wouldn't have taken a duplicate SF at 24.

    3. This could get interesting. Anybody know what the Rocket's rights are? At least ask for more...

There should be a moratorium on new threads in the GARM until July 12th.

Do you know how many superstars develop for every average player there is? It's funny how you all think this guy is going to be a superstar yet he hasn't played a single NBA, NBDL, Summer League game... Let it go. Untill he dominates the NBA, then we can continue to cry and sign more petitions and send more emails to the rocket organization.
