    Why is Germany so good at PK shootout? Have they ever lost a PSO? Just like Italy would almost never win a PSO.. so strange...

    Neither of the teams had lost a penalty shoot out going into this one.

    And I for one think that Argentina having to take out their goalie mattered - he may have his weaknesses, but he is very good on the line/reaction.

    I can't remember the last time Germany ever lost a game that went to PKs, I knew before they even started the PKs that Argentina lost :(

    Exactly how i felt.. it's not just they never lost in the world cups, it's everything.. Euro cups, friendlies..

    It's pretty easy not to lose friendlies by PKs, since it never happens.
