The thought is right, but dammit man, LEARN TO TYPE AND USE PROPER GRAMMAR and not use the word RAPE if you're serious about this. Seriously, let someone else write one, because nobody is going to even read that mess. I'm not trying to hate, I just want any petition we do to be as convincing as possible and that one there just looks like it was written by an 8th grader.

i'm in too. i don't think it'll get the trade cancelled, but maybe by some sort of holy intervention, it'll get van gundy's ass FIRED.
As I wrote in another thread: I'd totally chip in money to do this. I doubt it would change anything with respects to the trade itself, but it would show the Rockets that their loyal fans mean business. Plus, as you said, the publicity alone would be priceless, especially if the national media gets wind of it. After all, if JVG can pressure the front office to get his way, why can't we as fans (as the ones who pay their salaries) do the same by publicly humiliating the team? I'm not asking for the Rockets to consult with the fans before making critical personnel (or operations) decisions. All I want is for the team to at least consider and factor in the effect that these decisions will have on fans/consumers before executing them.
Has anyone said that they think this is actually going to cancel the trade? I don't think it'll do that, but I want to make it loud and clear to management that I'm incredibly pissed off about the trade. To me that's worth $10 or $20 and I think to a lot of other people it would be too. I believe that you should stand up when you've been wronged and I feel that the Rockets organization royally screwed up. I'm not just going to sit here and take that.
If you guys seriously think the Rockets are going to rescind a trade based on what their fans think, you're fooling yourselves.
I started this thread and made no mention of thinking the Rox would rescind. Read over this thread and you'll see most/all of us just want management to know how angry we are.
