Just curious, to those at the draft party, about the reaction of the fans at Toyota. Hopefully it was enough to send a message to the organization.

I was there. There were lots of boo's. About 1/3 to 1/2 the crowd left after the breaking news headlines.

that "draft party" was a freakin joke. it was just another way to make money (from concessions). everyone was up and it got real loud after the 7th pick. when we picked gay the crowd erupted, only to find out we traded him. at least 80% of the crowd left, while some stayed to find out what the "suprise" would be.....turns out it was about JVG and the season tickets. somethign we already knew! it was a big waste of time.

I had a decent number of people that came from the draft...come right in grab drinks and just have a disgusted look on their face. They said everyone booed and just left the arena as soon as they could when the announcement was made....

I hope that place is so empty and quiet next year you can hear a pin drop. I'm can't believe this team will compete for anything but an also ran spot for the foreseeable future. How stupid can one team's management be?
