ESPN just reported that KG's stock is hot in the windy city of Chicago. But if i'm KG, why would i go to Chicago. Why not Houston for Sto+JHo+#8 pick? Straight up in a heart beat!!!
he went to Farragut in Chicago. that's home. oh - and also b/c chicago has more to offer minny. almost forgot that part.
Not to derail (this thread needs it), but I wonder how many prank calls were made by other GM's inquiring about the availability of the Knicks 1st round pick? I bet that it is the running inside joke among NBA GM's. Each daring the other to call him again... Except for Ainge, for some reason, he doesn't get the inside joke, but still laughs and nods along with them over drinks.
Then the panthers should make a serious offer for him. No team is willing to trade for him with the A-list cast like Yao, Kobe, Wade, Ducan. He is almost certain to walk into another situation where he wont win. Now if he is really that good, he should win it all with marginal good players.
Real GM... ESPN's Chad Ford is reporting that the Bulls and Timberwolves are talking trade with Kevin Garnett the focal point. Minnesota would receive picks No. 2 (Tyrus Thomas) and No. 16 (probably Marcus Williams) along with either Luol Deng or Ben Gordon. That doesn't seem to be that good of a deal for KG.
pretty good for me when you think its a 30 year old player. that along with the wolves pick this year and next they would have a great young team.
