610 just had a blurb about JB going back to Atlanta. He wanted to catch on with the Rockets broadcasting team but never heard anything. Was he that bad? I was hoping he would catch on, Barry was always fun to listen to during his interviews.
The Rockets were already set with Worrell and Clyde, but they allowed Barry to do a few games so he would have tape to show around the league.
JB seems like a great guy and all, but his announcing was nothing impressive. It seemed to me to be rather cynical and, umm.. 'slacker-like', if I can make up a phrase. No surprise they didn't kepe him around. Frankly, Calvin has been in exile long enough. Poor Bill Worrell is not good in the lead position, he needs someone like Calvin to work off of, and Clyde ain't it. FREE CALVIN!!!

I like Van also. one thing barry did was make clyde better, for some reason clyde responded to him. clyde probably didn't like sharing the spotlight, and it actually forced him to be insightful.
the Rockets as a product are absolutely atrocious. from their commentators to the half-time show to the billboards and to the flying dildo unis, it's so freaking unbearable. where the hell do they get their marketing team from, Lamedom Elementary?
Is there any way we can create a petition saying we want Calvin Murphy back alongside Bill Worrel. Or has it already been done. I would definitely sign it.
