    That article made me want to puke. I cannot believe I subjected myself to such moronic and overhyped statements such as those. I think I'll go load up my e-mail bomber now....

    Barkley was upset with Mathis mostly because he called a foul on Barkley for throwing Luc Longley halfway across the court....
    As it happened, Mathis made the right call in that case. The NBA also made the right call in harshly punishing Barkley for his comments, and when Barkley leaves the NBA, we can only hope he does nearly as much for society as Mike Mathis....

    Um excuse me...was i watching the same game? Is that how you guys saw it? Did Barkley throw Luc half court? I swear i watched that replay.(more than once, at that) I mustve missed it. Or too much lean in my cup!
    Also, big whoopdee doo. Mathis has done a little of this and that. Barkley has done plenty for people also. He donates to charities, and who knows what else. For instance, off the top of my head, i can think of three! ONE, he was one of the first to call and donate something to Kims Place. I am not sure on this, but i swore it was like $50,000(then Les matched it). TWO, as of recently, he donated all that money to those three schools. (his old high school, Auburn, and some school/childrens home in AL) Wasn't it $3 mil each?! THREE, the kind of person he REALLY IS, Clutch even saw at that open practice this past summer! No cameras, media. He chatted with a young female in a wheel chair, or something like that rather. I got his autograph once. He seems like a nice person, for the most part. A "frontin'" bad boy who is really a softie! ~ it gets really old seeing sorry calls being made~ I'm glad Barkley spoke his mind. More players should be like him. Not afraid to call it like it is, instead of always doing that *** kissing! To me the jail reference was maybe charles being honest? Or was he trying to add a little bit of humor to it? Keep drawing at strings, Barkley haters! The writer of this article is a sorry punk!

    ~~~~...noted that with the TV camera on him and Barkley facing the crowd, he grabbed his crotch and made a stroking motion and mouthed several unpleasant phrases to the people... ~~~~~ PLEASE! those people egged Charles on so bad. They were asking for it. You can deny it all you want. That's one of the things people look forward for part of the entertainment/game from Charles. I know its not the majority of it, and may not necessarily be professional or correct (children are there too), but it does add some spice to the game. And if people claim they dont want to see that kind of thing, why are they bothering wasting their breath booing and chastizing Barkley? They want that kind of response from him.
    But anyway, while Barkley has done some things that are so very ?ble, he makes up for it in a lot of ways. I think we're really gonna miss him after he retires. What kind of fun are we gonna have then? Is there any one player comparable to Charles Barkley? NOOOOOOOOo!
    It was an impressive thing to see, Barkley hurling the 295-pound Australian like a stuffed kangaroo.
    What game was this guy watching?!
    It was a touch foul that never should have been called.
    Yet when Cat gets mugged by 3 Suns, I guess that's OK?!
    LAME
    The criticisms of Barkley's "interaction" with the crowd are VERY valid. Also, in one of the last two nationally televised games, the camera was on Barkley and he clearly yelled "Suck my c***" to somebody in the stands. That type of conduct is disgraceful and indefensible.
    You can always hear barkley talking.
    He always says **** you or suck my **** .
    He said something pretty cool the other day.
    Kenny Thomas was like on fire and he went to the free throw line. While he was shooting barkley tells everyone.. Watch out guys he is going to be something ( refering to Kenny THomas).
  7. Grummert, exactly...
    Does that mean that Latrell Sprewell was right for his comments. I mean the Fans were egging him on. Or how about with his coach, his coach was egging him on.
    Zounds..the ways some people would defend classless acts are astounding. Let me get something straight before you Barkley lovers attack. I am not rippipng Barkleys heart, or his game, or his abilities. It was as classless as the Vancouver fans who threw stuff on the court for Barkley to stroke himself, while uttering a myriad of 4 lettered words.
