Both Carroll Dawson and Dennis Lindsey are scheduled to be live on a couple of the local tv stations tonight talking draft. I'm sure they'll both tell us exactly what they are going to do with that #8 pick. Dawson on Fox26 (10pm??) and Lindsey on Ch2 sports show (10:30). Or maybe it's the other way around. Any chance someone could record it and YouTube it for the rest of us?

They won't tell anymore than they have on the radio already. It's just a grander stage for the smoke.
Agreed, especially since they are supposedly close to pulling the trigger on a trade or two. Perhaps something will happen today before they go on the air.

I will save you some time by providing a prelude, ..."we are looking to add some shooting, some length and some defense on the perimiter. We are working the phones heavily to move up in the draft, but this is a draft unlike any other in recent times, where there is no definite #1 pick, and the #1 consensus pick just may fall to #8. This draft is not as deep as most recent drafts, but we may be able to get a contributor at #8, but probably not a starter. At #8, we like Carney, Brewer, Shelden Williams, Redick, Marcus Williams, Randy Foye, and any of the top 7 that may fall to #8. We are considering all options and continue to work the phones to improve the team, but every team seems to want to stand pat right now."
I'm confirming - FOX 26 had Carroll Dawson at 10 and they also were the ones who got the Brandon Roy interview. Berman always has the stories, huh so I guess Lindsey will be on ch2 at 10:30
Caulkins asked about Roy straight off. CD addressed the 2 spot the ROx are looking @ strongly. Nothing ground breaking. CD still wants to move up. He's fully aware that Bargnani could be moving down. Looks like we'll know on Draft Night, Wednesday.
This interview was a big zero ... nothing new or interesting really at all. Only things that suck out in my mind: - Still no idea who is taking who in this draft. - Roy probably wouldn't be available at 8 - was very pessimistic about the chances of getting Roy. - "As of right now" Bargnani could be available to the Rockets at 8. - Tons more opportunities to move down than up ...
I missed all but the last bit, but I'd be all for moving down for an extra pick if whoever they want isn't available to them.
