So we all have heard of crazy insane law suits all over the U.S. some examples of them are: 1) The mcdonald "hot" coffee case but the funniest one i have ever heard was a Halloween night around 10 years ago some 25 year old man dressed up as a Sheep by applaying and glueing cotton all over his body , then he "smartly" lit up a cigarette in a Halloween party and of course Cotton is flameable so he lit up in flames . So he decided to sue Johnson and Johnson and i beleive he got some money out of it!! anyone else heard of some crazy lawsuits like that?
There is a bunch of them here. It's amazing what they sue for. I remember on about a lady that was waiting in line at a Club and she didn't want to pay cover so she tried to sneak in through a bathroom window, she slipped fell and got hurt while trying to basically sneak in. a lot of them are false. and a lot of them that aren't false are reversed on appeal, for various reasons.
There was one in the news recently that a guy held up an auto parts store, got beat up by two employees there and arrested and convicted. From prison, he's suing the store for beating him up. My mother works for a chemical company and many years ago, they had a plant explosion. One of the suits filed against them from the townsfolk was a claim that a woman's dog wouldn't bark ever since the explosion. The company settled.
a friend of mine in Miami had a greek restaurant and served "Greek Salads" a lady bit into an olive and chipped her tooth then she sued for not putting it in the menu that Olives have seed in them !!
