He essentially made $50M for one years work and the guy is 65. If I were him I would laugh all the way to the bank and leave the game like that. But knowing LB, he'll probably come back and work cheap and sign a 5yr/$25M deal.

What about our coach isn't going anywhere and everything coming out of the organization pretty much reinforces that, until we start getting rumblings from the players or front offices these threads are pointless!

If you're gonna hire Brown, go ahead and start looking for his replacement while you're at it...

This is the only coach I'd consider to replace JVG at this point.

    Larry Brown-surely you jest!!

A couple of years ago when we were talking to Brown, JVG, and others I thought Brown choosing the Pistons was a blow to our team. Brown is a guy who comes into a mess and cleans it up. Turns out the Knicks mess was to great even for him.

JVG is a younger version of Brown and he's got a mess on his hands in Houston that may also prove to be to great to clean up. Here's to JVG's last season in Houston.

I would like to see some constancy on our team in terms of players and the coach. Teams need to grow with each other. Thats one of the reasons I think
is lacking these days in sports.

And a big NO to LB.

Jeff Van-Gandy and Larry Brown are the same coach, same system, defensive minded with a poor offensive strategy...

The difference between the two is that JVG knows this team very well and Brown doesn't know us at all.

Im pleased with JVG's work

Hell no! He has been with more teams than Reggie Sanders. He can't stay still.
