I think the WC is the target here.

I don't see the Reds holding this pace.

Maybe the Astros really should look into adding a bat at the deadline, this could be our last year with Roger and Andy.

Just got back and watched the game .. what a disappointing and boring game ... The Astros once again couldn't get anything going. I guess Liriano had something to do with that, but we are going to be facing some tough teams in the next couple weeks. Guys like Mo and Bidge had better get it going or it could be a long two weeks

Ensberg needs to be moved out of the cleanup spot. He batted 0.215 in May and is in the 0.130's in June, with no power. Whether it's a slump or an injury or whatnot, gotta put guys like Lamb or even Wilson up there for now - he's killing us in the middle of the order. The offense was at its best when Ensberg was out with the shoulder injury...

Who has the better throwing arm: Preston Wilson or Frederick Sykes?

    Discuss.

Why not flip Berkman and Ensberg; that might give him some more balls to hit and we'll give Berkman more runs to knock in.

You can't hit what you refuse to swing at.

Garner gave him a green light on 3-0 pitch the other night. Ensberg didn't swing at a batting-practice fastball.

"He's having a little hesitation in his mind about his swing," Garner said. "He's got to let the big dog hunt. He can't be too fine."
