The storm right now on the west side of town is dumping more rain and is far more intense than anything we saw earlier this week, out this way.

It came through The Woodlands about half an hour to an hour ago. It was crazy.

I want to thank everyone for the moisture you sent out towards Tucson. It actually rained here yesterday, that makes the third time in June. It isn't supposed to rain in Tucson in June. I am also enjoying overcast skies today and 94 degrees all with a balmy 22% humidity. That's 10 degrees cooler then it has been at this time in the afternoon lately.

Get ready H-Town, here it comes again. Hope it doesn't rain on Roger's parade tonight.

I heard Sierra Vista got dumped on. Here's how we're looking at it...

A perfect line of dry lightning forecast for Friday from the Santa Fe area across the Cibola, Gila, down to the Tonto and points south...

The last week in June is when we traditionally get the largest number of large fires... looks like things are setting up nicely to continue the trend.

Big storm moved up through Sierra Vista towards Vail and then East Tucson. The lighting bolts were flying, as was the dust, but there was enough rain with this storm not to light any of the mountains on fire. My house got missed by the rain, but it doesn't matter since I don't have a lawn to water anyway.

The firefighters could use some rain in Oak Canyon up near Sedona. Here's to hoping for an early monsoon.
