I have the Magic Bullet!!! I love it. I use it everyday. I use it to just make smoothies and protein shakes. It's smaller and easier to clean than a blender, and it works for what i want it to do. my blenders never crushed ice very well, but this one does. you can go to bed bath and beyond, and linen's and things and get one instead of ordering online.
I bought Floam for my son after enduring the commercial 2000 times on Cartoon network. I bought a mop for my mom years ago. She still uses it. My mom bought OxyClean and it worked but she also bought DIDi 7 and it didn't do squat.
the magic bullet and the betty crocker bake n fill cake thing both work really well. my girlfriend has made quite a few ice cream filled cakes and they always turn out awesome.
I knew it!! I was pretty amazed by the infomericial and really wanted to buy it but my girlfriend stopped me. Maybe I will purchase it after all. I was also interested in the Instant Pasta Maker but then I found out that you have to pour boiling water in it first. Why don't you just let it boil in the pot then?
I bought an "As Seen on TV" product that I've never seen on tv. A user of this bbs once posted about the Flavorwave Oven and I bought one. That thing rocks. I also owned a George Foreman grill, but you can buy those anywhere. That's about it for me.
Those Walk-Fit insoles. They've actually worked for me. I also immediately download most of the songs shown on those Sounds of the 60s/70s/80s compilations.
Definitely do it ... my g/f was against getting one and got agitated every time we saw it on TV or at Target. I ended up getting one and she uses it everyday.
I've never purchased anything directly from TV, but the one thing I did buy because of the TV infomercials was Taebo. Got it a few months ago -- totally freaking great -- lost >10lbs in a month. Then I got sick, and then started traveling around, and I haven't done it for over a month now . . . gained most of the weight back. Once I get settled back down again, I intend to get back into it. I loved it.
I bought some speed reading tape. The theory was you would read paragraphs at a time instead of a word at a time. But I always fell asleep listening to them so I didn't learn crap. My dad also bought that leather patch kit for faux leather furniture. He had a faux brown leather sofa that he tried to cover up a 2 inch rip. Ended up with 2 inches of hard, icing-looking crap that would scratch your ass if you sat on it wrong.
My dad bought that a LONG time ago. I think it's the only thing my family's ever bought off TV. Surprsingly, it was mine and his favorite lure. I caught way too many fish off that thing to count. I need more.
oh yea, my first guitar (and my only one) is a esteban guitar off the HSN. i guess it's not bad for a starter.
