LOL, now the refs are saving the ball and starting miami fastbreaks. does anyone on dallas no how to throw the ball over people to get it to dirk? in game 3 they throw it right to haslem for a breakaway. earlier they threw it to posey for a break. and now they throw it to haslem again. it's not hard to figure out they're fronting. throw it up, not chest level. it's like the mavs haven't practiced this before or something. playing so damn carelessly w/ their playoff lives on the line.
The Mavs are choking right now but they have plenty of fight left in them. Plus the Heat have a lot of turnovers and sloppy play left in them.
Really? That can't be the only reason he's getting so riled up... impossible. Especially since Wade is getting treated like KOBE by the refs, and is setting a precedent so that teams led by players like Kobe Bryant can actually win a title... I figured he hated guys who dominate the ball, and take the majority of their team's shots with the way he's villifying Wade. That can't be the only reason... too perplexing.
man you're pathetic. i realize you don't like kobe, but not everyone has to like the players you like. you like shaq and nash and hate kobe, i'm the opposite. for some reason you seem to take it personally, as if me rooting for the lakers to beat phoenix pained you physically. i'm not sure i get it. i've hated shaq from the beginning. i realize i'm talking to a child so that won't get through, but i just thought i should mention it. winning one w/o kobe doesn't really matter versus him just winning. but you think shaq is better than hakeem so you don't have a problem with him winning another title whereas it makes it easier for me to educate people about hakeem's greatness relative to shaq if shaq doesn't pile up championships, especially one where he isn't the best player and has a lot of help. but again, you're not enough of a hakeem fan to understand that, so it goes right over your head. and Nick, not liking shaq is my main reason for rooting for dallas. just like hating the spurs was, and just like not liking nash winning the mvp was. i don't really like the mavs. i just dislike the other teams more. kinda like watching usc play oklahoma in that one championship game. even though i don't really like usc, i rooted like hell for them in that game. same w/ lsu the year before. but maybe other people don't have teams they hate and just root for the other team. except everyone in this thread rooting for the heat.
Man, Dallas is done. They are settling too many jumpers, nobody can't go inside. My nightmare is becoming true. I am going to see Shaq gets another title, so do Walker, Morning and Payton, etc. Ugly basketball is coming back.
Mavs appear to be "tightening up" a bit here, but as long as Walker is in the game, the mavs have a chance. The mavs shots need to start fallin.
don't be confused by tigermission1. he's not really sure what's going on. and when have i villified wade? i like wade, i like his game, but i hate the heat. i just don't like him going to the line as some absurd 20 ft/game rate. i'm sure if i rooted for the heat i'd love all the free throws, but it's a little crazy. as a side note, if miami wins i get a nice chunk of change from betting b/c i was pretty sure they would get the calls and win the series.
put the champagne on ice. Dallas better have a run and get close soon or it's over. Man this Heat team is tough bunch.
But, Shaq isn't even doing anything of note this series... hell, Alonzo has outplayed him for this whole series by his peformance in this third quarter alone. You seem to critcize Wade more than anything... who is doing it all without Shaq's help. Hell, Shaq is getting criticized, and looking worse than ever on FT's... its pretty embarassing for him. I figured you'd be happy to see that embarassment, as well as see a one-man team win a championship in this new-age NBA, where Steve Nash can win an MVP.
