why is that amazing to you?

and i'm amazed you've quoted and responded to another one of my posts while seemingly never accurately refuting anything i say. i guess with dallas winning the points in the paint stat you'll tell me the reason miami has seven and a half times as many free throws is that riley's style is to just let people have the layup once they get inside. and wade has actually upped the ante, not just tying the mavs in free throws, but shooting 3.5 times as many.

man, dallas just doesn't have what it takes to win a title. you can't have a 10 point lead w/ 2:48 to go in the half and just watch as the other team goes on a 13-0 run to take the game away from you. and terry misses another wide open 3. i swear terry and nowitzki are terrible at coming off picks and being wide open and actually hitting the shot. they always seem to come up short.

Good: Posey eating Mavs' lunch on the boards with 30 seconds left to give Heat a guaranteed halftime lead.
Better: Mavs, spotted a gazillion turnovers and fast-break points, still managing to trail.
Best: Mavs fans booing refs off the court. Thanks for the 4th quarter help, you whining pansies.

i hope zo and posey play a lot more in the second half esp zo since they are bringing the fire in the game today.

man i would love to see the heat celebrate on the mavs court in front of cuban and then have a reporter ask cuban if its the worst loss ever for the mavs

What a schizo 1st half. Right after the above post, Miami goes on a 13-0 run. If the Heat keep it close, it's possible the Mavs tighten up and the Heat pull away with a big 2nd half run. That is, if they stop the turnovers, Wade included.

I think we can all agree this is not NBA Finals basketball at it's best.

No really... why are you rooting for Dallas?

I really have no clue... I know nobody here is a diehard Mavs fan, and I know the Heat haven't done anything to piss off any Houston fans over the years (unlike the Mavs).

I understand that some people like the Mavs style of play, and thus would like to see a team of the type win a title (Bill Simmons)... but nobody on here is complaining about every single thing going against the Mavs like you are... are you from Dallas?

Dude, no objective person will argue Dallas isn't getting the calls in this game. We all know you are rooting for Mavs by now, not that there's anything wrong with it.

He roots for Dallas because he's really rooting against Shaq. His fav player is Kobe (you should read the other threads, his man crush on Kobe is out of this world), and in his eyes if Shaq wins the title without Kobe, it's a slap to his boys' face, and will validate criticism of Kobe running Shaq out of town among other things.

So in short, he just doesn't want his boy Kobe to get embarassed or further admonished if Shaq wins another ring (which undoubtedly will happen , the whole "well, Shaq couldn't win one without Kobe either" argument will be thoroughly discredited.

I can't believe what I'm watching. Antoine Walker out-hustling the Mavericks? Dallas playing sloppy? Nearly silent crowd? Wow- Mavs are in trouble.

Man... I was just hoping that Miami would keep it within reach before the 4th quarter... not actually have the lead. This is screwing up everything... (or maybe that is Dallas' master plan... to NOT have a big lead).
