Alrite, before you rip me apart consider we are in the dog days of summer and also take the time and read these few things.

What ever you think of it there is no denying the social phenomenon that is Myspace. With over 83 million members it is one of the premier ways bands, comedians, tv shows, movies, etc. can bridge the gap between the product and the consumer.

You may ask what is the point and I honestly can't tell you why it works but it does. People like leaving messages on a single profile page. If feels more immediate than going through a whole message board (on T-mac's website) Plus so many people that don't go to his site would visit his page on myspace. Maybe he could update the blog every now and then. At least there would be a page where he is listing information directly for the reader as oppose to just throwing adidas adds in peoples' faces.

After a season like that he should do anything to help his standing with the fans. We can see on these boards that support for T-mac is nothing like what it once was.

For those who do use Myspace, please back me up here.

I use myspace. Sometimes I go to music profiles to listen to music, but as big of a Rockets fan as I am, I can't imagine bothering to go to a myspace profile of a player more than once. (if that)

Actually, I'd be more likely to leave derogatory comments on the profiles of players like Josh Howard, Dirk Nowitski and Manu Ginobili. That I'd do. :D

I just got on a few months ago. It's OK, pretty much just a visual Email. I did design part of my page w/a Houston theme.

You got to be kidding me. Improve his fan base? When you famous you can worry about your own fan base. Leave T-Mac alone. He doesn't need a fan base to seel cds to, he plays basketball, he is already getting paid, why should he worry about improving is fan base, especially via myspace. There is so much more important things for him to worry about.
