Are you kidding me...You must be talking about the regular season...He has been spotty in the playoffs in general, but has been a no-show in the Finals... Having said that, he still is a top 10, along with Wade, Yao, T-Mac, Nash, Lebron, Kobe, AI, Brand, Timmy...
Third in PER for the playoffs, while also playing more minutes than anyone, and you call that spotty? 1. Duncan 2. Kobe 3. LeBron 4. KG 5. Wade 6. Dirk 7. Brand 8. Iverson 9. Tmac 10. Peirce the best and most accurate list.......... Yao has do what he did in the 2nd half of the season FOR A WHOLE season then he will shoot up to #4. No Nash because I just feel that he is a manufactured product of the rule changes. Tmac fell to #9
Maybe Jason Terry being a top player? Or close.. He has been doing WAY better than Dirk in the playoffs.
In no particular order. 1. Nash 2. Kobe 3. Lebron 4. Dirk 5. KG 6. TD 7. Wade 8. Brand 9. AI 10. Arenas Tmac and Yao are between 10-15.
Why am I thinking my list is the best and most accurate also? And my buddy thinks the honors should go to his list too...weird.
1) Kobe Bryant - still has the most talent on both ends of the court. Talent level off the charts, and still as clutch as you can get. needs to trust his teammates more, but still the best player in the league. 2) Lebron James - unlimited potential, and at such a young age. Amazing court vision, good D, and sky is the limit for this young superstar. You can build a team around him, and expect a championship in the years to come. 3) T-MAC - when HEALTHY...he's an amazing talent with an assortment of moves, great jumper and of course range is never a factor with TMAC. Good Defense, and always clutch. 4) Dwayne Wade - his shot has improved drastically, is now a post season superstar. Good D, great moves, and is a supreme finisher. 5) A.I. - talent off the charts...took an average team to the finals, incredible scoring machine, great Defense, trust his teammates...got it all 6) Dirk Nowitzki - amazing shot and mobility for a 7 footer. Becoming a player in the paint and becoming a good rebounder. Defense still a problem 7) Steve Nash - runs the offense like no one else. He is the suns, and is a true winner. Is clutch, great shot, and of course an assist machine. D is a problem still. 8) Elton Brand - shot block expert. Great D. Has good low post moves,

Still need improvement to be the true monster on the court that he can and will be. Aggresiveness has improved but still could get better. Has a plethora of moves at his disposal, and will soon dominate the league. 9) Elton Brand - shot block expert. Great D. Has good low post moves, excellent rebounder, and a good mid range jumper. Great Player. 10) Tim Duncan - should be higher on the list based on pure ablitity, but the past season's sub-par regular season performance has dropped him. Still a dominant force in this league, and b/c of his team may not need to be the best to still be a champion. *Dwayne Wade maybe shouldnt be that high...but his finals/playoff performace propelled him in my mind. Granted Shaq makes the game easier for him...but his game was still unreal.
Dude do u know that freaking lay up he did on the wizards was like a 2834123 steps traveld!?!?!? I WAS SO MAD. that is not fair. RULES ARE RULES. same goes for Wade with his spin move -______- Tmac is a lot better. he plays smart.
1. Lebron- Does everything you need. 2. Kobe- Can literally be unstoppable. 3. Duncan- Fading fast IMO. 4. TMac (when healthy)- See Kobe. 5. KG- See Lebron. 6. Wade- The playoffs really propelled him up here. 7. Dirk- I hate him but he is darn good and creates a mismatch everytime. 8. Nash- He IS the Suns. 9. AI- Can be unstoppable on the offensive side, but not much more. 10. Brand- About as solid as they come. Honorable Mention: 1. Yao- Needs to be consistent, if so, he's a Top 5 player. 2. Arenas- Like Kobe and TMac, the guy can flat out score. 3. Shaq- In the decline big time.
Top 10 Most Talented Players? Top 10 Most Valuable Players? Top 10 Most Successful Players? The BEST players is too general, IMO. Got to narrow it down a little more.
Stats lie, you can't tell me that Dirk had a better playoff run than Dwyane Wade? Oh wait, you can. Dwyane is #7, Dirk is #3. I guess Dirk had a better run than Dwyane. Despite the fact that I will disagree.
This is the only board where 90% of the people have Yao in their top ten. I just don't see it. YET. Yao is not there yet.
