    Some HD versions of the MGS4 E3 trailer started hitting the net the last few days. The best one is ~1GB from IGN. It is only open to insiders at IGN, but there's also a torrent available:
    http://www.fileupyours.com/files/44572/MGS4 Full HD Trailer [15 mins].wmv.torrent

    Gamespot and Gametrailers also have a version of the trailer, although both aren't quite as good (but they're also much smaller in size):
    http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=93D5D5D260FBEB3A (~700 MB)
    http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=1743 (~357 MB)

    I think there are some torrents available for those two as well, but those links should be good enough.

    Now obviously there isn't much reason to watch these again other than seeing the trailer in a higher resolution. The 1GB trailer has the same stuff as the ~100MB trailer posted shortly after E3. The difference is that the game looks much better, and it already looked very good. There are also some things that you might have missed in the low-res trailer that are easier to spot in the HD version.

    Here are some pics from the IGN version:

    I downloaded both the GS and IGN trailers. I think I spent most of the weekend downloading them (36 hours or so).

    :(

    RC, do you have dialup....I uploaded it in like 10 seconds this afternoon.

    Thanks for the links, very cool. I finally got around to buying MGS3 and plan on playing it the next two weeks when the wife and kid are in Houston seeing relatives.

    I have ISDN, which is almost as slow as dialup (max out at about 15 KB/s).

    * Spoiler*

    Was Snake saluting The Boss' unmarked grave like Big Boss at the end of MGS3? That scene in the trialer and the one from the end of MGS3 look eerily similar.

    *Spoiler*

    It did look similar, but I doubt it considering all records of "The Boss" were destroyed. Perhaps Gray Fox's grave, or Olga Gurlukovich.

    Oh, Kojima-san! :eek:

    * spoilers below*

    As Chilly_Pete touched on, how could Snake possibly know about The Boss? And why would she be so important to him? And is this Kojima yanking everyone's chains?

    There are a number of theories out there that seem plausible...

    *Spoilers*

    As for Snake finding out about The Boss and her grave, I guess there could be a number of ways that could happen. Eva could make an appearance in MGS4 and inform Snake about the actions that took place in MGS3. (Liquid) Ocelot could, for some reason, also say something about The Boss to Snake. Otacon might have stumbled upon secret records on The Boss while researching the Philosophers/Patriots (she was the last member of the Philosophers IIRC...or something like that). It might even be possible that Snake starts inheriting some of Big Boss's memories, although I'd prefer the other solutions to this one.

    Assuming he knows the whole story about her, then that should probably be enough to get him to salute her grave (she was a true soldier and patriot who saved the world). If he thinks favorably towards Big Boss, he might also have reason to salute The Boss (his mentor). Then there's the idea that maybe he doesn't care so much about The Boss, but since Big Boss doesn't have a grave, visiting her grave is the next best thing.

    Those are all just theories. I don't know why exactly he'd visit her grave. I just know that the evidence points to that happening (old grave with the exact same words as The Boss's grave...plus the flowers).
