yes sir. for all the bush hype from this last draft, adrian peterson is the most nfl ready back i have ever seen. more than barry, more than emmitt, more than reggie, more than marshall. he, imho, could step in the league, carry the ball 30 times per game, and instantly be one of the top 3 backs in the nfl. bold statement, i know, but he already has the nfl body and abilities.

he is a north/south runner with breakaway speed, ridiculous strength, and an incredible drive. think earl campbell with more speed and agility.

I just hope AP will drop to the bottom of the 1st round, which is where we'll be drafting next year. :)

Peterson is fully healthy. You make it sound like he had a torn acl last season; he had a high ankle sprain. And last season, despite the ankle sprain, the missed games, the lack of any type of passing offense, and the lack of a solid o-line, he still rushed for about 1100 yards.

i like the way you think. if we don't have a chance in hell of picking AP, that means we had a great year.

Adrian Peterson will have another down year. But this thread has derailed. We're talking about Pittsburg here. The answer is, they should use one of their wide recievers to play QB and trade the Texans for an extra wideout.

Im not sure how this thread turn into an Adrian Peterson slurp fest but... I didnt care when we passed up Bush, I like Williams and Bush is only going to get a handful of carries per anyways. If we were to pass up Peterson (I dont think we will be in that position though) Id cry. Peterson is a monster who can handle 35 carries. He might not last too long running like he does but you have to want a runner like Peterson.
