Hear microphone through the speakers?

    How do I set it so that whatever I speak into the microphone goes through the computer speakers, i.e. I hear what I say through the speakers?

    Set your options to "karaoke" mode.

    Is this through Windows? I don't see any karaoke mode in windows...

    Do you just want to listen to yourself while you operate your pc?

    Unmute your microphone volume. Open Volume Control (either double click on the sound icon in bottom right hand corner or Start, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Advanced button). If your Microphone is not listed, in the Volume Control, Options, Properties, and check the microphone.

    Make sure that the Mute option is not checked for that device.

    no good francis fan. there must be some setting somewhere allowing for this...just can't find it.
