Does anybody know if I'll get assessed all those crap conveniece charges if I buy tickets at Will Call. In the past I don't recall having to pay all those extra fees ordering either through Will Call or Regular Mail. In fact I could have sworn last season I could print out the tickets at home for free but now they're charging a 2.50 fee for that, wtf?! So is there any way to avoid all those extra fees, I ordered view deck tickets for my first game this year and ended up having to pay an extra 5 bucks because of this.

yup, even if its will call, you'll still be charged all of the ticketrape charges.

the MMP box office are full of it. I went on June 1st for the Clemens comeback game and the seller told me that they only have single seats left, the next day i bought 4 tixs side by side at Foleys, bastards

this is what i got when I did Will Call online:

so i was still charged for Convenience and Order Processing charges... lame

i would rather be charged for "new stadium taxes" then that crap

That deal doesn't include alot of seats though. Anyone know which seats are the half-off seats?

Is it even "scalping" if I always end up buying seats at a significant discount when I buy them on the streets?

If you ever want to sit field box or club level, and you don't want to pony up the $$$, just find one of these guys about 10-15 minutes before a game. Also, the more tickets you need, the more cumulative discount you'll get.

Its not illegal if its not on the stadium grounds, and they're not profiting off of it either.

I still don't get the whole 2.50 charge printing out tickets on YOUR printer with YOUR paper and YOUR ink cartdridge. I could have sworn that used to be free. 3 bucks a ticket conveniece charge, then tax, then a 4 dollar handling fee (if I'm doing Will Call or the quick ticket thing what handling is there?!). I guess I could try the window, but with the way gas is I probably won't save that much.

Just buy your tickets at the box office. Don't buy online. Don't buy at Foley's. Just got to MMP and buy your tix. You won't be charged any fees. Or you can bring a Borden Milk cap and do this plan: Bring the cap from a specially-marked gallon or half-gallon bottles of Bordens milk to the Minute Maid Park Box Office and purchase up to 4 tickets at half-price, only $11.50 for regularly priced $23 Bullpen Box seats. The Borden's Bullpen half-price ticket offer is good for any Monday through Thursday regular season game during the 2006 season. Purchase up to 4 tickets at half price per cap. Offer is subject to availability. Available in the following sections:
    Bullpen Boxes - $11.50
    Mezzanine - $8.00
    Terrace Deck - $10.00
    View Deck I - $6.00
    View Deck II - $5.00
Outfield Deck - $3.50 (Adults Only)

This promotion is available strictly through the Minute Maid Park Box Office.

Or on Friday's you can do this plan:

Coca-Cola Value Nights 2006 Package Includes:
    four (4) Mezzanine level tickets
    four (4) hot dogs
four (4) 20 oz. bottles of any available Coca-Cola product and
two (2) Astros branded baseball caps
A $127 value for just $55. Tickets may be purchased beginning one week prior to the "Value Night" game date you have selected. Subject to ticket availability.

Offer is available on 24-packs of Coca-Cola classic and Diet Coke specially marked with this Coca-Cola "Value Nights" offer, available at participating Coca-Cola retailers from 4/3/2006 - 7/22/2006 or while supplies last.

    Step 1
With the purchase of any specially-marked 24-pack of Coca-Cola classic or Diet Coke, you can qualify for savings during Coca-Cola "Value Nights" with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

    Step 2
Select which of the 11 Coca-Cola "Value Nights" you wish to attend with family and/or friends. Offer is subject to availability.

    Setp 3
Visit astros.com/valuenights, and follow the instructions for redeeming your seven-digit code found on your discount coupon to purchase the "Value Pack." Tickets may be purchased beginning one week prior to the "Value Night" game date you want to attend.
Four (4) Mezzanine level tickets to one of the Coca-Cola "Value Nights" games
One coupon redeemable four (4) hot dogs, four (4) 20 oz. bottles of any available Coca-Cola product
One coupon redeemable two Astros branded baseball caps.

    Step 4
Arrive on your game date, and proceed to your seats located in the Mezzanine Level. Once there you can redeem your coupons for Astros Caps at mezzanine home plate supply company or fan accommodations at section 323.

    Step 5
Redeem your coupon for four hot dogs and four 20 oz. Coca-Cola products at Union Station Favorites - Sections 251, 255, and 331.

    Step 6
    Enjoy the game.

Tickets for the Coca-Cola Value Pack may also be purchased by visiting the Texas Avenue Box Office at Minute Maid Park, during normal business hours to redeem your specially-marked Coca-Cola classic or Diet Coke coupon (cut off the box) and pay $55 to receive the "Value Pack".

Or on Tuesday's you can do this plan:

Get 2 Outfield Deck tickets for only $2, a $14 value, with the presentation of a 32 oz PowerAde neck ring.

This promotion is available strictly through the Minute Maid Park Box Office. Tickets are available 4 weeks in advance of game date (ie. Tuesday, July 5 game goes on sale Tuesday, June 7.)

Do they not do e-Saver anymore?

I got offers in e-mail last year almost every other week and haven't gotten any this season.

I think I might try this promotion out... I hadn't heard about this one but it sounds good.. View Deck for 6 bucks is pretty sweet if you can get 'em behind home plate; those are some of the best seets in the house. I;m seriously thinkin about gettin tix for the 4th cause it's a Clemens start, double play tuesday AND dollar hot dogs.

Rocket will start on June 22 in Houston. Then June 27 at Detroit. And Monday, July 3 at MMP. View Deck tickets are not behind home plate. View Deck is SEC 405-408 and 432-438 which are on the upper orners of the stadium.

Sorry you got it wrong there... :) http://houston.astros.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/hou/ticketing/seating_pricing.jsp

Believe me I know... I've sat in pretty much all the areas of the park (except for dugout and owner's box). Huge difference between Outifield (the corner sections) and View Deck.

i sat behind the astros dugout about the 12th row. The only thing that sucked was it was a day game and it was HOT. They had the roof open.

I bought the ticket from a scalper for more than it cost. I think 65 bucks.

I plan on going to the game on July 5th vs the Cubs. Who should be pitching?I kinda did the math, and it came to Andy Pettitte.
