I think cheating starts with a kiss, if you see a girl and you want to do something is not cheating, if you do it, then its cheating, like someone said it before, cheating is taking actions.

I'm in my twenties and in college as is my fiance', but I can tell you if I caught him with another girl doing anything that even remotely suggests and/or mirrors the intimacy he has with me, I'd have his head on a platter. Cheating starts with shaky intentions; if you have to hide it, it's cheating.
But, your situation is not all that common. It happens but it is not the norm. There are more people in their early twenties(20-23) 'having fun and meeting different people' as oppose to having a fiance and being committed for life. Furthermore, there are plenty of people who have been engaged or even married and realized later that person 'just isn't it'. I'm sure at one point they all believed they were in 'love'. Ask them now, they'll say something else. The ends always justifies the means.
With that said, I think cheating starts with intent. A stripper can give you a steamy lap dance and lick your neck, maybe even a nipple*gasp*. But thats all in good fun. You're not going home with anyone. Like someone mentioned earlier, going to a movie and holding hands with someone else is definitely more intimate. Maybe it comes down to 'intimacy' rather than 'physicality' But yeah, if you screw some prostitute on a business trip thats definitely cheating also LOL.
Would you do (whatever it is w/ the other person) in front of your girlfriend? Would you hold hands, bump uglies,munch necks, or express the interest to, in front of your girlfriend? If not, it may be cheating? Does it feel like cheating? Does it walk like a duck?
