I dunno . .. Radmanovich seemed like he could
    work well with ya
    a 3 shooting 7 ftr
It seems more and more in this league defense is not
    a necessary premium anymore
He was doing some decent rebounding as well

    How much is he worth?
How much do we think he wants?

I think the need for a BANGER down low
may not be as needed as I Once thought

He is going to cost the whole MLE. And we already spent a whole MLE on a PF last summer. We're not going to do it again. Book it.

Yeah I think Radmanovich would be good for our team. Last season he earned a little bit over 3 million. I think he could help us a lot. We could maybe use one of our TE on him. Then try to trade Jho away for someone else. Then we would have Swift/Radman/Hayes. We would have a banger inside and a guy who can shoot from the outside. We could also use Radman if we want to play big. I think he could help us out.

How do you suggest he get here? He turned down bigger $ to become UFA. What can be offered financially to him or in an SnT?

Nice idea, no chance of happening. Zero.

LOL, and who is going to give him the big contract? The clippers?

I was interested last year and still think he could help us. His agent gave him very bad advice last summer and he won't get as much this summer.

If we can dump JH or Stro and somehow and sign Radman, let's do it! He is the type of player we could use at PF. I agree our need for a "banger" has been overstated.

I don't know how we get this done but it's a nice fantasy.

Well, I think with Radman's free agency status and their pretty much open attempt at trading away Maggette, it seems as if the Clippers have no problem dealing away some of their key contributers from this year.

That said, I wouldn't consider a S&T involving Randman to any team to be out of the question.

If they trade away Maggette for cap space and then re-sign VladRad for Maggette's dollars, Elgin will once again have proven how dumb he really is.

We still need a rebounder, yes Yao is rebounding the ball alot more than he used to, but he can't do it alone or we will get crushed on the boards everynight...at least Howard gives you 6 to 8 a night.

But a three point shooter/rebounder is very hard to come by (murphy, okur, come to mind) Raef could be had but has a huge contract and it would take Stro and Howard to bring him on.

Whatever, as long as we improve and howard is gone or coming off the bench.

I agree but i'm sure thats an option Elgin is considering right now.

Vladman is an unrestricted free agent, correct?

I know its not likely at all and doesn't make much sense but if we could somehow ink him for the MLE after we address the SG position through the draft, do you think its a move that makes sense despite still having Howard/Swift under contract?

radmanovic would be interesting if we could move juwan howard. his shooting is quite amazing and he is pretty mobile. imagine him on the court with yao, t-mac, redick or carney and alston at the same time. our offense would possibly be even better than the suns'. you'd have to spent the whole mle on him, though. and he has some character issues.

i would love to add him for the full MLE, if Yap continues to play possessed we don't need the bruiser 4 as much, not sure Rad will ever be a 40 minute starter but 30 minutes a game from him between the 4 and 3 would be awesome to spread the floor and defensively he is no worse than what we currently have at the 4

get it done CD and moneyball

When did Radmanovich grow to 7'? That's quite a growth spurt.

Forget Radmanovic with the FULL MLE. He will command MORE than that.

He will either get resigned by the Clippers for more than the MLE or be signed and traded. Radman turned down a much richer deal in Seattle so he could test FA. Radman is NOT a realistic MLE target.

He does have a game similar to Juwan, perimeter oriented PF with more range than Juwan so I would think that we would need to move Juwan for him to be a fit on this team. Juwan isn't going anywhere with that contract of his.

I've never liked Radmanovich's game for some reason.

He wants more than the MLE, but I don't think he's worth more than the MLE. Let's see what the market will actually offer him this offseason.

I'm predicting, however, that the Rockets split their MLE between 2 guys this year.

I don't think we should split MLE.

At least not while we have our TE's.
