Its over, seems to definitely be fatigue. The Heats defensive intensity just isn't the same as in the beginning of the game. Depth and youth are the Mavs biggest advantage.
Miami is cursed with having players who may have once been able to dominate/score at will/be athletic freaks (Shaq, Payton, Mourning, Walker)... but when they still try to take over games, once they're clearly passed their primes, it just looks sad and desperate. I don't think Walker or Payton have ever bought into the fact that they're supposed to be role-players (nothing more)... whereas guys like Dampier and Stackhouse have thrived in that role.
Wade is incredible but the Heat don't have the horses to finish this game. Plus they don't have the defense to stop the Mavs from scoring.
You are too slow. Even before this game the Mavs fans have been saying Dampier is the best center in NBA. After this game, they will probably declare that Dampier is one of the top three centers in NBA history. And if Dallas go on to win the championship, they will take it to the next level and proclaim Dampier the best big man who has ever touched a basketball in the history of mankind. Of course, they will not forget Diop either. He will at least be crowned the 2nd best center in the NBA, just right behind Dampier, of course.
uh huh folx will always find a way to not give the man his props What was Popavich's Excuse? d'Antoni's? oh oh wait uhm . . yea BTw . . what was the Piston's issue? Rocket River
I've given Avery his due several times. I have no idea what you are talking about. Whatever. Let's enjoy a great game.
Dallas should go for the win with a 3.....if they miss, big deal still up 2-1 with homecourt. Go for the jugular. DD
