Ronnie Brewer: Really impressed me. Very well-spoken all around, and seems to be well prepared for playing at the next level. Sounds like he really enjoys breaking a sweat on the defensive end first and foremost. Says he knows coaches like to play mind games with you and you have to be tough. Sounds like he's ready for a JVG system to me.

Adam Morrison: Sounded confident as usual. I'm surprised by his comment about not having paid much attention to the NBA until recently. I enjoyed his response to the criticism surrounding his reaction at the end of the UCLA game.

    Marcus Williams:
Impressed with his answers to most questions. I liked how he broke down the thoughts of a point guard, and how he said he feels he could lead the league in assists. I wish he had elaborated a little further on the "laptop" situation. I would like to know exactly what happened, in his words.

    Patrick O'Bryant:
Great interview...for a mute. What the hell?

Sorry, but Tyrus Thomas sounds not so much like a guy with a chip on his shoulder as a major-league a-hole.

If he falls to us, let him just keep on fallin'.

Real problem with him acting this way is this: if he DOES happen to start free-fallin', then the teams behind us will be less likely to want to deal anything of real value to trade up to get him. If I am the Hornets, and it suddenly looks like nobody is going to touch the guy with a ten-foot pole, then they may feel comfortable that he will be there at 12, and no need to give up anything.

If the dude really is letting his agent pull his strings, he needs to fire said agent immediately. All he is doing with his 'tude is putting at risk everything he claims to covet and hold dear. The fact that the player himself is not smart enough to realize this and behave with a little more decorum shows a lot about the young man's intelligence (or lack thereof).

    SAY NO TO KNUCKLEHEADS.

Agreed. I'm warming up to Brewer w/ everything I read about him, I would also bet out of Carney, Brewer, and Redick, Brewer is the most ready to step in and contribute in JVG's system.
