I think there is a good chance that one or both of these guys is sitting there when we pick in the 2nd round. If they are, don't see how we can pass them up. Van Gundy could turn either one of them into our defensive stopper to go with the offense we are going to get in the top half of the first round.

Rudy Fernandez will not be there at #31. If he were and the Rockets grabbed him, what a steal! Even though he is listed as a SG, he would immediately be the best point guard on our current roster.

Personally, I hope we pass on Hassan Adams. He can run and jump, but his abilities pretty much stop there. I'd rather have Steve Novak, Mike Gansey, Shawne Williams or a number of others who might fall into the top of the second round.

You could probably put James White on that list as well. I also like Bobby Jones and Bowman from Georgetown, both of these guys are lock down defenders.

I'd take Tucker, Gansey, Novak, and maybe Pittsnogle over Adams.

So, we will either get a big time shooter or a big time defender there. Looks like that player should make our roster and be a good contributor for us. I am personally liking the idea of drafting a defender swing man at that position over the big man shooters because if we draft Redick in the first round, I think it makes more sense to balance him out with a defensive specialists. I haven't got to see enough of Hassan and definitely not Rudy but from the reads on those two guys, sure looks like at the very least we get a very good athlete who already has some estabished defensive skills that Van Gundy can hone to a razor edge.
