well here's what works for me i usually drink diet pepsi, diet coke, 2 bottles of propel, and apple juice on a daily basis. using a simple chart and equation...we have the following 1 diet pepsi cancelled out by 1 propel 1 diet coke cancelled out by 1 propel. then the logic gets even simpler since apple juice is the only thing that gets processed and thus maintains a healthy lifestyle. hope this helped.
I think they're all good. (but on the other hand, I love plain regular Diet Coke and it has flowed through my veins most of my life) Some of my favorites are Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke, Diet Mountain Dew Code Red, Diet Big Red Vanilla Ice Cream Float (or whatever it's called; it's one of the Splenda ones), Diet Sunkist. There are also some good generic fruit flavored ones at HEB, including grape. It's always funny how everyone comes out on here and talks about how unhealthy sodas are, even diet ones, and that they shouldn't be putting them in their bodies, and that everyone feels like they have to cut down. I doubt most everyone is worried about the alcohol, tobacco, mar1juana, whatever they are putting in their bodies, but all of a sudden the sodas are terrible for you and mean you lack self-control? I don't do any of that other stuff so I will drink all the Diet Coke I want.
My favorite diet drink was Diet Big Red. It tastes like liquid cotton candy. In New Zealand they have a drink called L & P which has a good diet version.
He didn't say anything about alcohol, tobacco, or mj. He just wants to replace one of his dp's with a diet drink. I think it's a good start.
I've spent the majority of my life addicted to Diet Mountain Dew - I have about 3 cans a day. I actually prefer Diet MD to the real thing. Other favs are Pepsi One, Diet Sunkist, Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, and Diet Rite (which is Diet RC). Diet Rite has the added bonus of being the only diet soda I've ever found that can be successfully substituted for Coke in a Jack & Coke.
Where do you find Diet Code Red? It was here for a few months, then disappeared. I'd kill for a can of that stuff.
I drink diet pepsi/lime, but then got turned onto Diet mountain dew which doesn't taste diet at all. I drink a lot of diet lipton green tea now. Also they have Diet Arizona Green tea in the stores by the gallon as well which is good. Can't stand diet coke though. I can taste the aftertaste still but diet pepsi doesn't have as strong an aftertaste as well as the other ones I've listed.
I just kicked the soda habbit myself (1 month clean ). I was drinking about 48 cans a week, lol. Now I drink tea or coffee (not nearly as much as the soda) and I drink gatoraid sometimes too.
Most people I know that drink diet drinks are fat. And that seems like it's always been the case. Also, I've never tasted a diet soda I could finish. They say wine is good for you in moderation, so just try having a nice pinot noir w/ lunch instead of a DP. You'll be glad you did. Especially good w/ pork.
That's nice to know, but does it taste worth a crap, or does it matter when your zipping around aimlessly.
I agree about the diet mountain dew - I can't tell the difference. However, I bought a case and it turned my crap dark green.
Love: Diet Pepsi Diet Dr Pepper Like: Diet Mountain Dew Diet Sunkist Diet A&W Root Beer (decaf, other diet root beers are good too) Sprite Zero (decaf) Coke Zero Pibb Zero Diet Cherry Coke About the same as water: Fresca Hate: Diet Coke Diet Cherry Pepsi Pepsi One
When I'm not drinking beer, I'm drinking water. I've never been much of a soda guy. I have had diet dp and it wasn't bad, but then you've already been down that road.
I like the diet sodas that use Splenda quite a bit better than the ones that use aspertame. Look on the bottle or box for the Splenda trademark. Shasta makes a diet cola that uses Splenda that I drink at lunch. Coke has a Splenda diet version. It costs about twice as much as the Shasta.
Wish I knew what to tell you... I live in a small town outside San Antonio and I don't think they have it here anymore at all. I don't know about the bigger cities. I do know it's still out there and sometimes when I go out of town I see it.
I usually drink Caffeine Free Diet Coke, but Sprite Zero, Pepsi One, and Diet Dr Pepper are all pretty good.
