How are my guys doin. Did you bench my starters???

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

    Camby-- 10.8 pts, 8.2 reb, 2.15 blocks
    McGrady-- 17.4 pts, 6.8 reb, 3.2 asst, 1.84 blocks
    Googs-- 6.8 pts, 3.1 reb, 15.5 minutes
    Dickerson-- 15.6 pts, 3.2 reb, 32 minutes
    Garrett-- 2.4 pts, 2.7 reb, 11 minutes

    Dean,

    Laettner-- 8.8 pts, 4.1 reb, 21 minutes
    Brown-- 8.0 pts, 5.4 reb, 24 minutes
    Walker-- 19.7 pts, 7.6 reb, 35 minutes
    Richmond-- 17 pts, 3 reb, 3 asst, 31 minutes
    Armstrong-- 15.1 pts, 6.9 asst, 3 reb, 31 minutes

    Rice-- 13.2 pts, 3.4 reb, 25.1 minutes
    White-- 5.9 pts, 6.3 reb, 22.8 minutes
    Hamilton-- 8.1 pts, 1.5 reb, 19 minutes

    VOR,

I really don't know about the Knicks and Pacers. It's confusing to me too. They both have some solid players-- Knicks have Kurt Thomas, LJ, Charlie Ward, Longley, etc. The Pacers have Al Harrington, Bender, Croshere, Best, etc. Remember both got off to awesome starts with their old teams too.

    Nomar,

    Yeah I benched them.

    VJ/BGM,

I'll throw in some real interesting stuff tomorrow morning when I have time to do all the stats. I'll try to throw in everything you, BGM, etc. asked for.

Here is my plan right now-- I will sim games sometime between 10-12 tomorrow night probably. I will sim through the end of the season and the playoffs will begin on Saturday. So what does this mean? Well, you have 24 hours to make any last adjustments in rosters or trades before its playoff time. We will be doing the 5-7-7-7 series, just like the NBA.

P.S.-- something else I thought might be interesting for the future. When we start our new season after this one ends, what do you guys think about changing the rules to allow zones, etc.-- basically all the new rules... good idea? I don't care either way, I was just thinking of possibly creative ways to make the game a little more interesting.

Can I have the numbers for my top 8 guys after you sim tomorrow?

Do whatever you want with the rules. My small mind has no clue what difference it would make.

I really hope this offseason won't consist of only Webber and Zone threads.

can we get some info about how you are gonna run player protection as well as the draft?? is there a lotter for the lowbies?? I kindof want to know this so I can begin Jockying for better draft picks. are the pistons a lock for the #1 pick?? are we adding new players??(expansion draft)

There won't be a lottery-- I want this to be as balanced as possible so I dont want to run the risk of an already stacked team getting the top pick. Non-playoff teams go before playoff teams despite conference, so I think Vancouver will have the #1 pick unless another BBS member joins and takes over an unclaimed franchise.
