Yea I watch it, I prefer ESPNEWS but I'll watch SC about 2 or 3 times, mainly because I always catch it in the middle or somewhere.
same here. even though ath will never be the same... i still miss max kellerman...and disembodied voice
Here in Mexico we have two sportscenters: in spanish and english I dont see it in spanish because almost all the highlights its about soccer, and I dont like it very much. The english version I tape it and then I watch only the parts I want. The things I watch on sportscenter is the NBA highlights, sometimes the hot seat, the ultimate highlight, and when its NFL season the Coors highlight, that song with: I love..... and twins! thats funny songs. And on ESPN I watch Around the Horn and PTI, also sometimes I watch the poker tournament. Here I dont get ESPNEWS
I watch it, but it's not the same. I basically just watch it because there's absolutely nothing else on at like 3am (I'm an insomniac). When I was younger I used to look forward to it. It was the first thing I watched when I woke up to get ready for school. I loved Olberman, Patrick and Kilborn. They started my day off right. Then Kenny Maine did his thing and once he was gone, it all went downhill fast. None of the guys on there are funny anymore...zip, zilch, nada. How many times do we want to hear Neil Everet say "How's IT?" to open a show? How many times do we want to hear Scott Van Pelt say "Tim-eh, tim-EH, tim-eh!...tim-EH!" when Tim Duncan converts on an and-1? How many times do we want to hear Stewart Scott say ANYTHING anymore? The guy is the most fake, lame, clueless, annoying, (insert a million other negative things here) sports news anchor in the history of television.
Neil Everett has grown on me. I love Scott Van Pelt, he's my favorite now. I still watch it sometimes, except when Linda Cohn is on. Best of all time definitely was the Kenny Mayne, Rich Eisen, etc. era.
