Man, I hate the baby bears.

I just wish Oswalt were pitching so he could throw at Barrett.

LLW. Zambrano owns the Astros and Wandy has been bad lately.

I'm not sure they could play worse than they have been lately. Therefore, things can only get better from here.

The cubs are equally atrocious, but we have to win, right?

Well, I've been wrong for over a month now. So let's make June the opposite month.

LLL. Oh how I hate the cubbies. Thankgod they're worse off than us.

ESPN will be showing Clemen's debut on Tuesday at 6pm. I just saw an ad for it.

Looks like Garner is going with Burke over Willy full time... I feel this is the right move.

Also, with Lamb at first, and Berkman in right, this may be our STRONGEST lineup all year. The fact that its coming after a team meeting indicates that it may be semi-permanent.

Everett's partially hurt, so that may be a part of it. Brunlett has had at least one or two plays each game which aren't being counted as errors, but are plays Everett makes. Right now, he just caused a 1st and 3rd, 1 out because he didn't get the ball to 1st quite quick enough. When you have a bunch of young pitchers susceptible to big innings, no way Bruntlett can stay as the long-term SS.

I've seen enough of Bruntlett to believe he doesn't outright deserve to be the shortstop. I think I'd go with a 70-30 split with Everett getting the majority of playing time.

    Game over.

Everett would have saved 4 runs this game with his defense
