I don't understand why everyone is so high on Miami. I don't see them winning more than one game in this series. Dallas has a plethora of guys they can throw at Dwayne Wade to slow him down and a plethora of guys they can use on the other end to make him work defensively. They have the single biggest mismatch in the series in Dirk Nowitzki who won't even have to work defensively with Haslem and Posey. Like I said in another thread, Shaq will get his, but that's 25 and 10 these days as opposed to 40 and 15. The big man is washed up and won't be enough.

Dallas just has too much firepower. 4-1 Dallas. I hope to God I'm wrong.

Maybe everyone here hates Mavs so much they just want Heats to win.

IMO, Dalllas will finish the series in 6.

If Phoenix was a full squad w/ no injuries, they would of stomped Dallas. The loss of Amare gave Dallas that inside power Phoenix lacked.

Both teams are going to win games based on their own game-plan... its the games where the teams have to make adjustments that are going to ultimately determine this series.

First of all, if Shaq is flat-out dominant like he was in game 6 (a lot to ask for), Dallas has no chance. But, I don't see him being the MVP-calibur guy, and he's also gonna be frustrated with the refs (especially in the first two games in Dallas, like Yao was). But, also like Yao, he's going to have opportunities to EXPLODE against a Mavs defense that still loses interest, and gives up points in bunches.

Secondly, this may be the best coaching matchup in the finals since... well, 1 year ago. But, the ability of both Pat Riley and Avery Johnson to get each of their teams so well-in-tune, to be playing their best basketball of the season at the perfect time, speaks volumes to their ability to manage all the egos on their team, and fit the right parts at the right time.

I just don't see Shaq as a threat. He's not even as good as Yao anymore. San Antonio was a far superior team than this Miami team and Dallas was able to overcome them. Duncan is superior to O'neal.

My main reason that Dallas will win this thing in a rout is that Dwayne Wade will have to work on EVERY posession. He's going to have to guard Stackhouse in the post, Harris or Terry on the perimeter. Howard will harass him on the other end. That entire Miami offense depends on Wade. All this while Dirk can pick his spots as his teammates can create their own shots, and rest on defense not having to worry about Posey or Haslem.

LOL! This one is not even close. Mav holds huge advantage and it's not even funny.

Shaq will have about 2-3 very good games in this series. Still Dallas in 5 or 6.

Definitely Howard. Dirk gets all the attention, but really he's the best player on the mavs team. He does everything for them, especially playing defense and creating his own shot. He's like the only one on that team who doesn't use the jump shot to establish his offense.

yea i guess now that i take a second look at it howard is the better player, i first picked posey because of his 3pt shooting, which will help spread the floor for wade and shaq.

I think Howard is about ten times better than Posey. I think the Mavs have much more overall team speed, Wade being the exception of course.

The Mavs will use a similar game plan to the one they used against the Rockets last season, I think their past experience in handling Yao and McGrady will come in handy this time around.

Mavs should win this series when all is set and done, but I hope I am wrong.
