while the turtle did give bugs some trouble, it seems like i remember him beating him once (and for some reason i was really rooting for it). though i may just be thinking of the time he won the race but then got arrested for speeding by the officer the turtle brought around. otherwise, as someone else noted, bugs pretty much kicked everyone's ass. even daffy, who beat a lot of people, couldn't hang with bugs. who was that monster he was dealing with in the castle where he was doing his nails (to distract the monster from killing him) and said "you must meet the most interesting monsters"? my mom says that line all the time. and he was such a b*stard and such a smartass that you had to love him. the results of this poll have somewhat restored my faith in humanity.
No, no, no. While the incident did happen in 1992 at the Uptown Houston Christmas tree lighting, it was the real Bugs Bunny that molested me. I'm sure of it.
LOL. So, which one of you people were the obnoxious boys running around trying to figure out what my gender was under that costume, and pulling on my tail? More like Bugs Bunny was going to be molested by the kids. At least I had the Warner Cable guy guiding me around between appearances and hiding the fact that the back of the costume had a broken snap on it. Nobody needs to see Bugs Bunny's bra strap under there. I wasn't originally supposed to be in that costume anyway... I thought I was going to be helping the Houston Concert Band with percussion parts... but they had it covered, so I got sent off to help with the characters and then the other guy couldn't fit into the suit they had. Even my skinny 17-year-old self barely fit into it, and there wasn't room for my clothes under there. (please, guys, no lewd fantasies) It's weird being in the middle of that hot suit, looking out through what appears to be the mouth, and having kids scream and rush toward you. I had to make sure the big feet didn't trip over each other, and the wind caught my ears and tried to blow my head back. Also, I had told them to go back to the band and tell them where I was, which they didn't do. My band director sent some other people to go look for me when it was time to go home. They walked up to us and told the guy they were looking for that girl from the band. I pointed a big white hand at myself and the guy also pointed and said, "she's in there." I think everybody started wondering about me after that...
Ol' Bugs spent a whole lot of time onscreen in drag and he seemed to enjoy it a little bit too much. I'm thinking he might have spent quite a bit of time adjusting his bra strap when he wasn't working.
Falling Hare Gremlins commit "di-a-bol-IK-el" "sab-uh-TOO-gie". There's a better earlier version called "Russian Rhaposidy" in which the Gremlins are from the Kremlin, and the pilot is Adolf Hitler.
i was gonna say, bugs probably spent more time in drag than in normal clothes (well when the perv wasn't naked) so that wouldn't be a problem.
Sorry to revisit this thread...but it got me thinking about funny cartoon shorts...and from what I remember, the funniest cartoon ever has to be the Tom & Jerry episode where Jerry's guitar-pickin' country/western-singin' uncle (Uncle Pecos) comes to visit...and he keeps breaking the strings on his guitar and uses Tom's whiskers for new guitar strings. Absolutely priceless!!! They just don't make them like that any more!!!
the funniest tom and jerry is "is you is or is you ain't my baby" a fairer fight in this thread would be bugs vs. droopy.
Good one. Maybe not the funniest for me, but definitely the most memorable. That's the only tom and jerry scene that I vivedly remember. All the other stuff with the chasing, and tom getting hurt are all the same.
Damn, I think a "Who do you like more, Hakeem Olajuwon or Karl Malone" thread wouldn't be as lopsided as this one...
so what's the funniest bugs bunny, my personal favorite is when he is robin hood. but I think the universal popular pick would be the "shoot him now" with daffy and elmer.
As a kid, bugs, but now as an adult, they're both gay...Although, I'll probably be taking the kids to one of their parks soon...
