her music or her looks? i hope it's her music b/c i find her to be quite naturally beautiful. then again, some guys find renee zellweger hot , so there's no use arguing over something so subjective.

I don't particularly like her looks as far as celebs go, but she's still quite hot in a visual sense. I mean, let's be real here...if a girl that looked like that asked me on a date I'd probably stop and buy an engagement ring on the way to pick her up. The problem is that I absolutely cannot stand her singing. It's like the stuff my nightmares are made of. I can't help but get annoyed just looking at her.
I just don't care what she looks like, I would dislike her crappy music and horrid singing anyway. So in that normal way her looks are irrelevant. But her crappy music is famous only because of the way she looks, so now I despise it. So it is relevant only in a connected sort of way, but not directly.

She has a fantastic voice... she just can't sing in English. I'd rate her voice to be on par or even better than most pop singers. Spanish flows so eloquently from her tongue and she has interesting ways of hitting different notes... too bad singing in English is nothing like it. I feel that either her music has been rushed in the studio or she's not doing her due diligence to learn to sing in English, but releases in U.S. is sub-par at best. Check out her earlier work like Estoy Aqui and Tu. She's really good... and that's coming from a fellow singer.
That would be a generous comparison for her English work... but her Spanish work is really good, you should give it a listen.
