Anyone here an actual fan (first) of a remaining team?

I hate Riley. I used to hate Shaq, but not as much now since he is declining. And I hate Antoine Walker and Gary Payton. Shandon Anderson and Derek Anderson are two of the worst ex-Rockets. So the Heat is the least I like among the remaining teams.

I want either the Suns or the Pistons to win. Both teams play unselfish team ball without clear-cut superstars. (Nash is the exception but his game is involving his teammates.)

 

Since the Spers and Kobe won't win it, anything is palatable at this point.

My preference will be the Suns or Heat, than probably the Pistons than Mavs.

I do believe the Suns have a chance to beat the Mavs because the Mavs might play into their style, but no chance to beat the Detroit/Heat winner barring injury (unless Wade, Shaq, Billips or Ben Wallace goes down).

So I guess Miami is who my realistic preference is. I have nothing against Wade or Shaq, and Miami is a pretty fun city.

Phx is going to be a load for years. Remember Amare is coming back and he Diaw and Barbosa are just pups. Not to mention Phx is owed 2 future 1st rounders from Atl and Boston, and a couple extra 2nd rounders from other teams. IMO they defintely are the most underrated franchise and maybe best run franchise considering what they have had to work with (no high lotto picks I can think of) in the NBA.

 

But Nash is getting old. When he runs out of gas, that team is going down.

 

you know, i used to not like shaq. i thought he was too arrogant, but its hard not to like the guy after hearing so many stories of acts of kidness on his behalf. so go miami! also cant wait to see if shaq ends up being a narc. imagine the looks he would get from people when he busts down doors on drug raids. lol.

 

i enjoy the suns a lot, not as much as rockets tho

 

i am jumping on dallas' bandwagon. i think cuban deserve something for his effort. life should be fair.

 

I rooted for San antonio to win against dallas, now I root for phoenix,

In the East I root for the pistons

But I dont care who wins.

I have two favorite teams

I'm a rockets fan first, but now that the mavs are in it, I'm cheering for anyone but Dallas...

 

I'm a fan of the rockets first and foremost but I want anyone to win it all except for detroit. The reason is because I like the run and gun basketball of the 70's and 80's and if phoenix or dallas wins then we will see more teams emulating that style of ball which will make the league more entertaining as a whole.

 

I can't be arsed to care about any of the remaining teams. However, I'll driven to contemplate jumping off a bridge if the Mavs win . I am going to be rooting for the Suns to go all the way. At least that'd stick it to that whiny lil **** Cuban when Nash hoists the championship.

 

As a b-ball fan i'm looking forward to the Suns/ Mavs series -- it should be fun to watch. I'll be rooting for the Suns.

No way can I root for the Dallas Floppers and Mark Castro.

So I'd like to see the Suns win it all and have other teams model themselves after Phoenix to herald in a new era in the NBA - a return to teams averaging 120 PPG.
