Well it's just about started, and we've got some early tallys from the matches. It seems like points for defensive players are coming late, and we might get the overnight recount for all the others but here is what's up on the card now...

    South Central 10 (3 of 11 players counted - Left 4 Sat - 4 Sun)
    Rens Rough Necks 3 (1/11 - 5 Sat - 5 Sun)
This matchup is pretty open and even scored as of now with Rens 3 points from his only player for now, while South Central has gathered 10 from 3 players.

    Heath's Lost Reindeers 8 (1/11 - 2 Sat - 8 Sun)
    Fadeways Killer Codfish 1 (2/11 - 4 Sat - 5 sun)
The Reindeers has left its biggest fp-producer thus far (WR-Kevin Swayne, OR 9fp) on the bench which could be fatal as many points are left to be counted in this match. The Killer Codfish on the other hand has had a very poor start with only 1 point gathered from the 2 players accounted for.

    Space City Spoilers 40 (6/11 - 2 Sat - 3 Sun)
    Moe Scrubs 0 (0/11 - 6 Sat - 5 Sun)
This game very uneven so far, but that it also should be as the Spoilers have accounted for 6 guys already while The Scrubs have not started getting in their points yet. The Spoilers had good output from WR-Diallo Burks, OR with 23fp and QB-Ryan Clement, LV with 15 fp. Backup QB-Tim Lester, CHI also produced 11 good fps on the bench while WR-Nakia Jenkins, LV had 7 points.

    JD's Maniacs 6(2/11 - 2 Sat - 7 Sun)
    Summer Song's Hell Cats 54 (3/11 - 1 Sat - 7 Sun)
It looks like The Hell Cats have decided this match already as it will take some Maniacal effort from The Maniacs to overcome The Cats Extra Crispy Start. [IMG] Rippin' it up for The Cats are QB-Jeff Brohm, OR and RB-John Avery, CHI with 25fp and 28fp. RB-Rod Smart, LV is highscoring reserve with 5fp.

After the early returns it looks like The Hell Cats and The Spoilers will fight for top hounors - but the league is still in its birth.

Am I the only one in our league who doesn't plan on enjoying this very much?

I guess my heart just isn't in it, but I won't quit though.

I need to focus on my NBA league as I am gaining on 2nd place with 1st place not too far away.

Yeah, I think this XFL league is going to suck. No worries, though!

Well I kind of liked it.
My expectations were set very low going in so I was somewhat suprised with the quality of play.

They must get rid of the wrestlers talking smack during breaks, very annoying.I'd rather hear the players themselves talk smack.

I also like the fact that these guys are not superstar $$$$ A lot of these players will be out to prove something and get another shot at the NFL.

I'm going to put Lester on the trade block but I will only trade him to a team with no starter.

I just ask for a starter at WR or RB.

    Week 1 Finals:
    South Central Shadow Smashers 42
    Rens Rough Necks 5

    Heath's Lost Reindeers 39
    Fadeaway's Killer-Codfish 12

    Space City Spoilers 51
    Moe's Scrubs turned Stars 8

Summer Song's Extra Crispy Hell Cats 69
    JD's Maniacal Maniacs 38

    Week 2 Matchups:
    Rough Necks vs Lost Reindeers
    Killer-Codfish vs Shadow Smashers
Scrubs turned Stars vs Extra Crispy Hell Cats
    Spoilers vs Maniacal Maniacs

Expect to see closer games this week as the Waiver Activity has been high, but as of now last weeks winner will be favorites to pull out another win. countingcrow's highscoring loss against The Hell Cats still leaves them as underdogs vs The Spoiler who was the 2nd highest scoring team last week. We could get 4 teams with 2-0 records after two weeks, splitting the division in two with the last four with 0-2 losing records. Time will tell and there still are starters left on the waiver wire to alter the teams. And someone should bite on DAROs offer of his starting QB - Tim Lester as this would make this league closer.

I might still add a player or two from the waivers but chances are I will just wait and see for next weeks results. Who will get the first trade done? I'm open for offers...

I have Puleri if anybody wants him...just give me a decent player....preferably offensive in nature. he may hurt your team as he was a -3 last week, but he is a starter.

Thanks Daro, your my new best friend [IMG]

I dont know Mike Black or Rico Clark but I got Rico off of waivers and he got 8fps last week and I think Black ran for like 52 yards in 15 tries so maybe he can get some more touches,I think he put up like 2fps!

This is turning into the presidental election - I've got 6 points added to my total days after the official scores were
down, this could've turn ugly in a close game where one party had the win in the pocket one day - and two days later they got the win deducted and added to the other party. Well I've double checkedand it seems like this is the only score that has changed. The official score (for now) is:

    Week 1 Finals:
    Heath's Lost Reindeers 45
    Fadeaway's Killer-Codfish 12
I got these 6 points from my kicker - for some reason they had not counted him in earlier. This btw also moved me up one place in the standings [IMG]

Later this week: NY really won the match because of an illegal object. Be prepared for anything people, scoring is the least of our worries....
