I hope Detroit wins. I think they're the only team equipped to beat Dallas and I DO NOT WANT TO SEE DALLAS HOISTING A TROPHY!

The fact that the Cavs just went 7 games with Detroit changes everything.

I wouldn't go that far, but he was at least at Vince Carter's level, which is pretty good.

Definately. Penny was no slouch, that dude could ball. And my line of thinking is exactly that of JM, I need Detroit in the finals to take out whoever comes out of that Dallas/SA series.

Yes, but he's incosistent. His FG% can vary from 30% to 60% on any given night.

    I say Detroit in 6.

I must admit that when Shaq used to be in LA, i used to dislike him, but now that he is with the Heat, my stance has changed abit. I think i was more blinded by my hatred of the Lakers than anything. I hope the Heat go on to win the Championship this year to add to Shaq's legacy as one of the most dominant players of all time.

I love D.Wade, but I don't like his team. Go Pistons! Detroit in six. And then Dallas in seven after they beat the Suns in five.

I think the Pistons received a wake-up call against the Cavs...They'll be ready to play against the Heat and I say they win in 7 and win the NBA Finals as well. Like a lot of other people here, I don't want to see the Suns win and I never ever want to see the Mavs win either...To hell with them both.

When you look at Miami's roleplayers vs. Cleveland's role players, they're a much better team. Williams, Payton, Walker, Haslem, Posey, Anderson and Zo are much better than Snow, Jones, Marshall, Hughes, Murray and Varejao. Heat in 6.

I think the Heat win this in 6.

Wade and a rested Shaq can give anyone fits. Detroit can be vulnerable to a swingman going off any one on one match-up Detriot hates to get out of (hate to provide help defense). Wade (preinjury) showed that last year, Manu showed that last year, and Lebron showed it in spades last series. Wade is almost a difficult to keep from penetrating as Lebron, and has a much better supporting cast.

Chauncy is going to have to play much better and much more consistent than he did versus the Cavs for Detroit to get by Miami IMO.

Don't forget a less talented Miami team probably beats Detriot last year if not for injuries.

Miami is definetly equiped to beat Dallas. Dallas has noone to cover Wade (they can't go much with small ball with Terry or Harris on Wade, Howard I guess is there best bet but he is foul prone a not too smart) and Duncan showed the weakness of Dallas's interior defense that Shaq can similarly exploit.

Further, Dallas needs to focus on Phx. They have a very difficult challenge to adjust to style. While versus SA they wanted to up tempo, they want to slow it down versus Phx. Dallas went uptempo versus Phx last year and got slaughtered. Granted Phx doesn't have Amare, but you just don't want to make it a jump shooting contest because outside of Dirk and Terry they can't jumpshoot with Phx.

Now SA would have slaughtered Phx because they would have taken the air out of the ball in their natural playoff style, Dallas is much more vulnerable to Phx.

The Heat have to feel bad about themselves.

They shot 80% from the floor and held Pistons to 37% from the floor but was only able to manage a 2 point lead so far in the game.

Is it me, or was Shaq traveling on those first few plays? He'll pick his pivot foot WAY up before the ball even comes out of his hand on the dribble.
