Bob, I know this effects you the most, but man he played so great in last years playoffs and now he gets miminal court time and when he's on seems more worried about not making mistakes and hence has minimal impact on the game. What are you doing Isiah??? Let the Boy play, what the hell are Bruno Sundo and Jeff Foster doing on the court, sit them down and give Austin major minutes!!! Cause this guy can flat out play! I agree 100%. Isaih has a lot to learn as a coach. Very few great players make good coaches. When Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson had a bad shooting night, Chuck Daly didn't sit him on the bench the next game. Austin doesn't know if he's coming or going in Isaih's system. I wonder how Donnie Walsh feels after shelling out the big bucks to re-sign Austin. ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. Finn*, i just has the whole rotation thing completely wrong, for me the starting 5 should be Best, Miller, Rose, Austin and Oneal and then minutes for Bender and Harrington off the Bench and maybe Tabak and Perkins for the bigger teams. Walsh must be hating it, and i would hate to think what Larry Bird thinks, he brings him along slow and gets him to improve into last years form and now he plays 15 mins a game. Bird has to be frustrated. Austin has all the tools to be a great player in the league. Bird brought him along very slowly. He played very little his rookie year, his second year saw his time increase and by the second half of his 3rd season, he was starting. He was a big reason the Pacers got to the finals. ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new.
