Anybody have any idea WTF is going on with the NBA playoff schedules? You have three game 7's and only one on the weekend. No games on Sat. and two on Mon. night with one coming after game 6 was played last Thursday. Not to mention only one of the game 7's on ABC.

IMO NBA TV coverage has been screwed ever since it started to associate itself with ABC/ESPN.

Just totally stupid on the part of the nba. No game on Saturday (they could have had the Clippers play) 1 on Sunday and 2 on Monday!? What the hell -- at least move one of the Monday games to Sunday night or Tuesday.

considering that the Clipper Sun game could well end AFTER MIDNIGHT . . . AGAIN!!!

One would think they could have gotten THAT ONE in this weekend

AFL game on Saturday at America West
WWE event on Sunday at America West
    They couldn't play on Friday
Monday was the next available day.

Right...cuz those two things would bring in so much more cash from TV exposure.

that doesn't matter...the point is the place was already booked to a pre-existing schedule.

it's no longer America West. It's some other scrub airline.

I don't think Toyota will ever go down. Neither will Coca Cola.

    Reliant...maybe.

It sounds like somebody at Phoenix screwed up with scheduling then. That doesn't explain though why they couldn't schedule Spurs / Mavs 7 on Sunday so you could have a double header on Sunday rather than on Monday.

not really. you can't expect the Suns to make, or change, a schedule based on a POSSIBLE game 7. game 7 isn't set until the series is tied 3-3. i'm sure the other two events at teh arena were already set. i don't think they're gonna tell WWE to postpone their event in lieu of a playoff game.

I read somewhere, not sure where, that the NBA had done this to atone for the 1st game of this series muck-up with the Spurs, who had to play on 36 hours of rest.

In this manner neither team has a greater advantage after advancing.

However, as I read this it makes absolutely no sense. Did they already know both series' were headed for 7 games?
