We can't get the 4th. Only 1-3 and 8-11 like LongTimeFan said.

    11th, selecting J.J. Redick.

I go and vomit in my mouth, swallow it, and vomit it up again.

Utah wins the first overall pick, New Orleans the second, and Golden State the third, selecting Adam Morrison, Tyrus Thomas and LaMarcus Aldridge, respectively. J.J. Redick gets tragically shot and wounded during a "poetry" slam in the 'hood by a rival gang. Jeff Van Gundy resigns, replaced by Larry Brown. Larry then promptly trades Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, becuase they "don't play the game the right way". Somehow, despite all this, Juwan Howard steals the talent of LeBron, Wade and Amare "Space-Jam" style and leads us to the Championship.

Or I guess we might just stay at number 8 and pick Rodney Carney, but the first scenario seems much more realistic...

    Pick: #2
Player: Kevin Garnett via large trade (not involving #11 or #1)

The Rocket's will draw the number 6 pick, then will trade it away for a veteran player.

Because only the top 3 picks are up for grabs. Either you win a top 3 pick, or you stay pat or move down based on who does win them. So if we move up it'll be into the top three. Or we can move down if a team behind us gets top 3. Otherwise we'll stay where we are if the winners are from slots 1-7.

Think we will get the first pick in a very lucky draw and before anyone can stop him CD will trade it to New York for an expiring contract.
