Wow, two of my very least favorite players in all of MLB. Pierzynski and Barrett. Chicago sucks.

4 ejected in Cubs, White Sox brawl

    Associated Press

CHICAGO — A.J. Pierzynski barreled over Cubs catcher Michael Barrett, who punched the White Sox catcher and started a bench-clearing melee in the second inning that led to four ejections today.

Pierzynski slapped the plate after the collision as the ball got away from Barrett. The Cubs catcher got up, grabbed Pierzynski and punched him. The White Sox's Scott Podsednik, who had been in the on-deck circle, wrestled Barrett to the ground.

White Sox center fielder Brian Anderson, who hit the bases loaded sacrifice fly to score Pierzynski, then got into a fight with Cubs first baseman John Mabry.

Pierzynski, Barrett, Anderson and Mabry were all ejected after a 15-minute delay.

As Pierzynski went back to the dugout, he raised his hands in the air while a soldout crowd at U.S. Cellular Field roared. He slapped hands with his teammates.

Minutes after the game resumed, the White Sox's Tadahito Iguchi hit a grand slam to give his team a 5-0 lead.

Pierzynski is just an ass, period... but Barrett is starting to get a reputation as a hothead. This was just 2 days ago...

I think it's more Barrett is a complete douche and anyone outside of Cubs Fan hates him. If he is so tough, he should start a fight with someone like Clemens (please come back) not skinny Roy O'

The Cubs are so bad it's awesome.

    Best pic ever.

Barret is such a tool. Dude needs to have his neck snapped to set him straight.

Man, it pains me to say this, because A.J. is a total prick (basically the real life model for Major League 2's villain, Jack Parkman), but he did nothing wrong here. This is all on Barrett. Hopefully, the Cubs will lose even more games when his ass gets suspended. Cubs lose! Cubs lose!

Only a Cub could turn AJ Eyechart into a sympathetic figure.

I was at the Ryan vs. Ventura game at old Arlington Stadium. Everyone was stomping their feet and the place was shaking I thought the bleachers were going to collapse (I was like 9). My family had good luck at that place. My grandpa caught a Rafael Palmero foul ball while I was watching on HSE in Houston. :D

What a funny day. Axl Rose and AJ Pierzynski need to donate to the karma jar.

I'm surprised the take down of Zimmer by Pedro wasn't in the top ten list.

Nolan pouning on Ventura would make my top ten list of baseballs most memorable moments, along with the Randy Johnson fastball that causes a bird to explode.
