Quick question: does anybody support Hillary for president in '08? I've got plenty of liberal friends and I don't know anybody that's excited about her running for president. I think the dems have plenty of other better candidates. Why is there always talk about her running? Would she even have a snowballs chance? She's the antichrist to conservatives, and I don't know many libs who think she's all that either.
Although I'm not a liberal, I say Hillary has a good chance of winning the Democratic nomination. But she won't beat out Guilliani or McCain if either of them decide to run for the presidency in 08. I say the best chance the Dems have to win is have Al Gore run again for the nomination. He's your best best and the only chance the Democrats have for victory...
Full text of the long article from which i reposted the following blurb The source is a canadian news magazine -- and we all know how unreliable the canadian press is.... but I found a few things interesting: Her 'lead' at this point -- though nobody's really in the race yet The money angle (worked for George didn't it) and the idea that the hate on her isn't necessarily a deal breaker. I'm somewhat surprised by the venom that's thrown her way.
just watched it....gotta agree with Giddy on this one (this may be the only time Giddy and I agree in a Hillary thread ).
Anyone in Austin have any insight to this? The whole post is quite interesting. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arianna-huffington/the-times-blows-it_b_21570.html
