i haven't seen any of the games for this series, but after i checked the scores between the two teams, i was stunned to find out the cavs are up 3-2!!! is lebron really that good to carry the team or the pistons just suck now? or did the cavs pay the pistons to lose?!

Consider it a combination of the first two with abit of disrespect by Detroit thrown in there.

You know what is really going on, teh Flip Saunders effect is happening. He has alaways been a great regular season coach but always chokes in the playoffs. Anyway Lebron is not that good he just has a good suporting cast

Lebron is amazing and what he does is really why I think he should have been the MVP. The guy can have off scoring nights (for him) every game in the series and still be the best player out there with his rebounding and passing.

If he continues to work on his shot and improves his defense he will be the league's best player for the next decade.

Court vision is something you can't teach and few have. Combine that with a genetically freakish body and some hard work and you have potentially one of the top players that have played the game.

The kid is magic johnson with michael jordan hops. No one can stop Lebron. You can only take away some aspects of his game.

tree-mac, watch the games man, its just good basketball...

"It's just basketball," James said. "They're not the Big, Bad Wolf. And we're not the Three Little Pigs."

You can't be serious, you think Z, Larry Hughes, Varajon, Goodwin and Marshall are the catalyst for them being up 3-2 on the Pistons. Lebron had nothing to do with it. Those guys would be fishing now w/o LBJ.

The rest of the Cavs are good too, they're not being used to the best of their abilities, that doesn't take anything away from how good James is, but he might be doing more than he has to. Eventually, to reach their full potential the Cavs will have to play as a team to beat the Heat or finish off the Pistons if they remember what was necessary to win playoff series. Basically, if James starts playing more like Magic than Michael the Cavs will become a great team, capable of giving any team in the NBA a good run.

I disagree because the Cavs roster is more like MJ's Bulls than Magic's showtime Lakers. For that matter, LeBrons teammates are worse than any of the Bulls teams without a doubt. At this point, LBJ has to carry them on his back when no one else can hit a shot and then rely on them more when teams move to shut him down. This was the blueprint in game 5. It's in the hands of his teammates to step up and contribute. Larry Hughes MUST become their 2nd best player and step up to the plate. Varajao must grow into more than just an "energy" player. Big Z is Big Z and won't get any better. He isn't worth his contract.

The key over the summer for the Cavs is at PG. If you plug a very good PG into that lineup they will rise to another level. Damon and Snow drag that team down. Maybe than can do a SnT with Drew Gooden since they already have Marshall and Varajao at PF.

Yes that is teh reason because Z is a good center, and is an allstar. Also Goodin is a monster rebounder and Varajon is a great energy player

The way I see it, Chauncy Billup is the one to blame. He is not himself and playing undisciplined. Ironically, he complained Larry Brown is too strict.

yeah, the interesting thing to me about this is that the MVP(s) of the pistons championship run 2 years ago may have been larry brown and mehmet okur

seriously though, i dont think anybody ever thought, after the regular season that the pistons had this year, that they would be facing elimination in the second round. i sure didnt. maybe larry brown is just that good of a coach....

my take on the cavs is definitely that lebron is carrying that team. larry hughes hasnt been close to the player he used to be since he came back from that injury. his shot has been off and his defense has not been that sharp. he is supposed to be some kind of shut down guy, but i just havent seen it. the only player that can hold his own is big Z. Lebron knows how to make everybody better on that team, and he is also learning when to take over himself. thats why they are winning.

Hughes hasnt even played the last 3 games cause his brother died. leBron is playing great and carrying that team. The Cavs supporting lineup is just OK with the exception of z nothing great. That remark by tiger0330 about how the Cavs would be fishing is pretty accurate.
