    Hi all,
I've been inspired to make some of my own b-ball mix videos and i was just wondering what the best software is for it. Ideally i'd like to be able to take clips out of exisiting games, insert other clips and add music and transition effects, basic stuff.
I'm looking to get some practice in during the offseason so that i can collect clips of T-Mac dunking on Nowitzki's head next season. Any help would be appreciated.

I am working with on a PC.

    Thanks again.

I use Windows Movie Maker. Comes standard with Windows operating systems these days. You can find it under the Start menu.

    Start
    All Programs
    Accessories
Windows Movie Maker (should be near the bottom)

It's a very simple program that has a nice wizard feature that will lead you through basic stuff. I've never used anything else, but it sure does seem limited at times. It also seems to hog all my computer's resources and locks up/crashes WAY too much. I guess it's not bad for free though.

This is what I use, because it does quite a bit for free software.

I've been using Pinnacle studio version 10. It's not bad. You can do very much anything as far as editing

If I had to be on a PC, I'd use Adobe Premier. It will do pretty much everything, but it costs. Even for a little more money, Avid DV. Both are the bests mid-range programs out there.

Thanks all, one more question. Would anyone happen to have the audio file of the "MVP" chants during Hakeems MVP season? (or whoever it was for).

I'd go with Adobe Premiere for PC or Final Cut Pro for Mac. Both are relatively easy to use and allow you to do anything you want basically. I prefer Premeire though cause Final Cut Pro is too user friendly for my tastes.

Nothing worse than user-friendliness in your computer applications.
