Springer plunked Bonds. On the first pitch, Springer was warned. Garner came out and argued on his behalf. Springer continued to pitch inside. Perhaps he felt Bonds was too close to the plate. Anyways it was chicken **** to not challenge Bonds especially when Giants are kicking @$$.

What's our record since we were "allowed" to negotiate with Clemens?

It's a distraction. If you don't think it is, you're fooling yourself.

& Bonds' sideshow freakshow rolling into town = an even BIGGER distraction. I hate him, & I hate the Giants, & I hate Gallo & Springer being in ANY game. :D

    Half kidding, kinda .. but

I can't wait until June effing 16, when we can get OVER all of the hearsay & bullcrap & just concentrate on playing ball. The dog days of summer never sounded so good.

It's May. I hate being worked up in May!

Did I mention that I hate stuff? :p

I didn't say that... I just said complaining about "not challenging Bonds" is stupid when the guy was already 3-3 this game.

Also, I'd rather they pitch inside to guys like Winn and Matheny... they're WAY to comfortable at the plate. In fact, their whole lineup is comfortable... but you can't hit all of them.

It's obvious God didn't want us to win this game. Paster Joel Osteen is sitting in the front row and even his influence isn't helping.

i was just told that they said on baseball tonight that they overheard springer say "he ain't gonna hit one off me", and that kruk said the same thing that i did, that springer is a loser, and that if he doesn't want to be part of history, walk him, don't throw at his head 3 times.

you're a joke of a pitcher in every sense of the word, springer. i hope you get a ball drilled in your face that ends your pathetic career in the near future.

Russ Springer is now my favorite pitcher. Didn't see it, but I heard about it. Can't wait to check it out on Sportscenter.

The national sports radio said that there is a history between Bonds and Springer. In 2001 Bonds took Springer deep and walked to first base. The next season Springer plunked him. I guess since we are getting blown out he wanted to get him one more time. :D

hmm... yeah this reoccuring theme of getting assraped by the giants in the first 3-4 innings is ... getting annoying.

he didnt throw at his head.

he threw it behind him, and to his chest area/elbows.

i wouldn't take anything fat **** (John Kruk) says seriously.

and who gives a damn, it's barry bonds.

he has no soul or emotions, therefore by the laws of nature, he can't feel pain.

Funny you talk about bad sportsmanship by Springer but you don't hold yourself to the same standard. What an assinine thing to say.

LOL. And c'mon, that big bobblehead that sits on Bonds' neck can be a big distraction for pitchers. It practically screams, "Hey! Throw the ball at me! I'm a freakishly large target!"

Springer should be cut from the team for pulling that ****. There's a reason why he's a nobody.

And yep, hes from the God awful state of Louisiana
